Ret Paladins have been over the top for PvP since the beta and this is coming from someone who plays a paladin at 80. The beta was rediculous and I'm not suggesting they haven't already been toned down, but they weren't toned down enough. I totally agree with GC's assessment. You can't have the most defensive class in the game also have the kind of power they have offensively, so something had to give.

New loot rule...items to be given a cheap enchant upon equipping to ensure bind. Paid for by guild bank mats

Just run heroics and make sure you do the daily every day. Try to get into VoA 10 and 25 every week. You'll catch up fast with badges.

Leveling my priest has been probably THE most fun toon ever as an alt. First, I have the heirloom items (except chest). Second, I can heal instances with orange and red mobs because I have dual spec disc. Third, I can pvp very, very, very well because....I have dual spec disc. Fourth, yes priest leveling sucks < 50, but once you hit 50 you have VT and it's all downhill from there IMO. Shadow is great for questing, disc is great for instances and pvp leveling. Getting cold weather flying at 68 has made it even easier. I haven't found it thankless at all so far. In fact, I'd say people are pretty well amazed when this priest 6 levels lower than they are heal them from almost dead to 100% with a single penance crit. just my $.02

A ganker is a griefer, don't be so overly-sensitive. It soulds like you are projecting your own thoughts about PvE servers. You don't have an inferiority complex do you? :)

I play on a PvP server and only morons from PvP servers look down on PvE realms. I personally would roll PvE if my friends weren't on PvP servers. Just relax and enjoy the article.

If you are horde, the main thing is to try to quest where allies don't have any (or very good) quest hubs. If you go to hillsbrad, STV, Tanaris you are going to get ganked no matter what. Also I found Borean Tundra worse than Howling Fjord by far because it's an obvious spot for 80s to grief. Another obvious spot is hellfire because of all of the new DKs running around. Also don't grind in obvious places - go bug smashing in some ugly part of the map instead of the humainoids in a "pretty" part of the map and stay away from places rich with ore nodes and herbs.

Blizzard are COWARDS for not disclosing information about this incident and deleting every thread on the forums even discussing it. The bottom line is they don't give a rats ass about any customer, their economy of scale is way too high. Yes, it is THEIR video game. It is also an example of a company who makes billions of dollars showing abuse of power. Instead of banning customers they should take responsibility for their own buggy software or piss-poor GM restoration processes.

Yeah this kid didn't act like a boy scout by any means, but the real wrong-doers here are Blizzard overreacting.

BTW - Notice how they ban his account but don't ban him as a customer. They will gladly let him purchase another copy and throw that money on their already huge pile. LOL, what a joke. Yet another reason to stick to console games.

On my very first character around level 20-something I was in southern barrens questing when the infamous set of elite mobs on their mounts wandering around killed me like a hot knife through butter. I spent the next 5 minutes ranting in /1 about "how the alliance were ganking out there" someone asked me if I was "flagged" and had no clue what that meant...then I got a PST "lol those are mobs not allies"
