Eve players are much nicer than some in other MMO's that I've played, or even FPS shooters on Xbox. Especially FPS shooters. They redefine what a "cyber-bully" is....

Honestly from what I can tell at the panel there was absolutely no "cyber-bullying" going on, if anyone actually watched it. This whole thing was initiated by CCP's weak handling of the issue.

I really am not sure what to make of this article though, and the followup. If there will not be an Eve Evolved segment next week, why mention that Brendan is being asked to take a week off? Are people personally stalking Brendan, or is all this just because of a coordinated email campaign by in-game Goons?

Actually, you could go to CCP and give them 9bil ISK (exchanged for 20 PLEX) and they would give you a brand new graphics card.

Also, this is a brilliant idea because although the PLEX price of the card when converting to $$ may be higher than it would be if you were to pay $200 in real life, cash-strapped players or those players with mountains of ISK would be able to purchase the upgrade. Remember when some people purchased a bunch of monocles each, just because they could?

Actually, the only reason anyone is talking about this is because of CCP's response. Exactly what does "under investigation" mean anyways? Too many people jumping to conclusions and without any facts taking sides on something that is really not a big deal.

I could be wrong but it seemed to me like they were making fun of the person's weight they place on a game. To write such a strangely pitiful open letter invites ridicule, does it not??

I hope that CCP updates their icons for Dust and in Eve - that fittings icon has always looked strange and I can't tell what it is exactly. Is it a spaceship, is it an airbus? Whatever it is, it doesn't look like anything currently in Eve that's for sure...

I'm getting excited for the new content personally. On a different note, I wish they'd remove the fairy-sparkle booster animation that makes all the ships look like they're glowing. Instead there should be more HUD graphics that can tell which ships are being boosted, that can be turned off. It just doesn't look realistic, a bunch of glowing ships out in space...
