EverQuest II Brew Day Quest Gallery
- EverQuest II Brew Day quest guide
The Brew Day holiday offers a few unique quests for players to take on. You'll need to find the portal to Brell's Bar to get started. For this guide, we've used the portal in Antonica, at the North Qeynos gate, but you can also find portals in the Commonlands and Greater Faydark. Click on it to start the fun!
- Brell's Everlasting Brew
As soon as you enter Brell's Bar, you should notice Rasel Alechaser. Speak to him and you'll pick up your first quest, Brell's Everlasting Brew.
- Blitzed
Look around the bar, and you'll find a wasted little chap named Snoogle Blitzed, who is accompanied by his robot pal Buzzed. He will give you the quest Snoogle's Presentation.
- The Burglars!
While at the bar, take the time to watch The Burglars perform for you.
- More burglars
And here they are again.
- Before we head out
There's one more quest you'll want to get before we hurry around completing objectives. Find the Avatar of Below, who should be walking around outside of the Antonica portal, near the farmlands. Now that's one oversized Dwarf.
- Beers for Brell!
The Avatar will offer you the quest Beers for Brell!, so get that too. Check out the three quests that you will have picked up by now, and take note of the requirements. There is a lot of traveling involved, so it's good to decide on a route. Of course, you could just keep reading this guide for our suggested plan of attack!
- Pure water
'Pure water' is a collectable that you'll need to get from a number of zones, and can be found in any body of water that has schools of fish. We won't go over this in each zone, so don't forget to pick them up as you go along. The zones that you'll need water from are Antonica, The Thundering Steppes, Nektulos Forest and The Commonlands.
- To Blackburrow
If you started in Antonica, it makes sense to go to Blackburrow first and get the stout you need. Travel down to the brewery. If you're not high enough for the gnolls to be non-aggro, you will need a group.
- Tap the keg
The keg is over on one side of the brewery room.
- I can has ale?
After collecting the keg of stout, come back to Brell's Bar and talk to Gerby Gigglegibber. Before he gives you some Ginger Ale, you'll need to give him a drink.
- Shouting the gigglegibber
Mraugl the bartender, just next to Gergy, has Ale for sale at the top of his list. Buy it for 1s 20c to take it to Gergy, who will give you your Ginger Ale. While at the bar, there's another objective to knock out.
- In the VIP
Go up the stairs and you'll find the door to a private lounge. Luckily enough, it's not so private that you can't just barge in.
- Tight Jimmy
Jimmy has some top notch barley, but he won't give it up. However, the bartender might be able to help you loosen him up.
- Have another
You can talk to the bartender, who will give hints on how to get Jimmy just plastered enough to be in a good mood and hand over some barley. If you don't feel like playing around with it, this should work: Coffee -> Spirits -> Ale -> Spirits -> Ale -> Spirits.
- That's more like it
When you get it right, Jimmy will glow green, and will give you what you need. After this little episode, the next place to go to is the dangerous city of Maj'Dul, past the Sinking Sands.
- The sleaze
Thankfully you don't have to venture too far into Maj'Dul to find your man, Amorous Ali. He wants you to take one of his drinks over to a pretty lady. She's about 10 feet away Ali, do it yourself! Well, we need his shot of Love, so indulge him.
- Hey pretty lady
Deliver the drink to the pretty lady. It turns out that she is already way into Ali, so report back to him with the good news.
- Don't you just hate this guy
Ok, you've done what Ali asked for, so you can get what you need and ship out! Next stop, the Village of Thundermist at the Thundering Steppes.
- The distraction
At Thundermist, you need to find a way to distract Prew Drowers so that you can take his hops. Locate his cow Betsy in a nearby barn, and, well ...
- Mooooo!
Pushing Betsy over will have Prew rushing out to her, so take this chance to pinch the hops.
- Yoink!
Grab the hops, and then there's one more thing to do while visiting Thundermist.
- Empty?
Go to the large empty barn -- well, it appears to be empty. However, take a swig of the booze that Snoogle gave you, and ...
- Now you've seen it all
One swig of Snoogle's drink will get you plastered, and you'll now see a Flying Pig that you can collect for him. After this, make your way to the Enchanted Lands.
- That's a cabbage?
A tree just below the docks at the Enchanted Lands is the spot for another of Snoogle's items, but as with the Flying Pig, you'll need to be hammered first. Take a swig from his bottle if you need to, and collect this very strange cabbage.
- Charvis Drunkhoof
Travel up near the entrance to Runnyeye, and you'll meet Charvis Drunkhoof. He's the keeper of the Hero Brew, and is big and tough -- but he's also part cow, and you know what we do to them.
- The bigger they are, the harder they fall
Not so tough after all!
- Minotaur Hero Brew
With Charvis taken care of, you're free to pick up the Minotaur Hero Brew. Once you've got it, go back to the docks and use the bells to travel to the Feerott for a quick stop-off.
- Small lizard toy
Another of Snoogle's items is just at the entrance to the tunnel from the docks at the Feerott. Drink up, and when everything's nice and blurry, grab the lizard. The last item you'll need for Snoogle is at the Commonlands, so travel there now. Note that you may want to stop at Nektulos Forest on the way for some Pure water.
- Pink elephant
At the edge of Pride Lake in The Commonlands you'll find your Pink Elephant (after you're sufficiently intoxicated of course). At this point, you can go back to the bar, or finish Beers for Brell! first by making your way to the Butcherblock Mountains. We did the latter.
- Glug Irontoe
At the Butcherblock Mountain docks, you'll find Glug Irontoe. He tells you where you can find the spirit of his relative Tumpy, up near Kaladim.
- Tumpy Irontoe
A quick tip on finding this guy -- if you ask the guards on the nearby bridge where he is, you'll get a handy glowing trail that leads you to his location, even while he's on the move. When you do catch him, he'll ask you to go streaking across the Butcherblock docks!
- Liquid Courage
At the docks, take a swig of your Liquid Courage, and all your armor is disabled, leaving you a bit less clothed than before.
- Your reward
After your streaking effort, find Tumpy on the docks next to you. He'll give you a Tumpy Tonic Max that you can place in your house, and this quest is ready to hand in. Travel back to Brell's Bar, but before taking the portal in, make a stop at the Avatar of Below.
- Helm of Foamy Goodness
Handing in the Beers for Brell! quest will get you a Helm of Foamy Goodness. You can go into Brell's Bar now to hand in the other two quests.
- Snoogle's reward
The hand in to Snoogle will get you a Party Keg.
- Not quite done yet
When you do the last hand-in for Rasel, you'll find there's one step to go. Read the prayer that he gives you to be transported to the Sanctorium of Brell.
- Choose -- if you dare
In the Sanctorium of Brell, you'll be asked to choose which stein you think Brell used. If you don't make the right choice, you'll pay for it!
- It's this one
The Wooden Stein is the one you're looking for. Take it, and you'll be ported back out of the instance.
- The final reward
The quest is now completed, and you get to choose between the keg that was around last year, or the new Brew Day cloak.
- Brew Day Cloak
And here's what the new cloak looks like. You've now completed the Brew Day Quests, and learnt just how much Brell loves to party!
