Aurora Feint 2 - The Arena
- Aurora Feint: The Arena
A follow up to one of the most successful games to hit the iPhone/iPod Touch, an Asynchronous MMO to become the ultimate in casual gaming, a perfect time waster, all of the above? Lets hope so
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - How To
I am guessing that there are going to be more than a few Aurora Feint Virgins out there, so for those of you who haven't experienced the joys of sliding blocks then this image gives you just a hint of how simple, and believe me when I say, addictive it can be!
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - RPG Elements
You can develop your character in game through mining away and gaining new levels. Once you've gained a level you can choose to spend the points into different skills and magical abilities. It was these elements in the original game that made it so attractive to so many people out there who wanted something more than just a puzzle game.
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - Where you spent most of your time
In Aurora Feint: The Beginning this is where you spent pretty much all your time. Gathering resources and leveling up your character so that you could buy new patterns to forge new armor and gain new abilities so that you could gather stuff even quicker to complete the typical RPG loop. The Arena gives us someplace else to focus our attention...
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - The World Map
Like any MMO worth it's deep rock salt, it has an awesome cool 'cloth map' style world map, complete with aged effects and Tolkien drawings
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - The Smith
This is where your precious, let seemingly pointless, resources become the powerful artifacts that make you a mining-block matching legend. Buy the blueprint from the store and complete a challenge of collecting a particular family of blocks and hey presto! Awesome gear.
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - We have the technology
When you complete the Smith challenge you can get some pretty awesome power ups that really change the dynamic of the game.
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - The Tower
The Tower holds the magical power within the world of Aurora Feint. To unlock these powers you must buy the book from the store and then complete the challenge in the moves required to gain the ability.
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - Battlegrounds
Asynchronous Battlegrounds may contain more syllables than I can count, but they also happen to be great fun and the staging grounds for some serious bragging rights. (Watch out for 'The T' leaving death threats on your wall if you somehow manage to beat my Ghost!)
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - Asynchronous News
The news feed runs through the whole game at the bottom of your screen, you are only a tap away from seeing what is happening in the world.
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - Failing at Summoning
Sometimes in life the first time really was the best. Don't give up though, Rome wasn't built over hundreds of years - wait...you know what I mean!
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - Summoning a Ghost
Ghosts are recorded versions of your own summoning game. They act the same way as you did when someone else challenges you.
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - Asynchronous Battles
Fighting, the only true way to know who really is the best at something. I once beat someone in a 'who-is-the-most-peaceful' fight, well, I say I beat him, I kicked his ass!
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - The Gauge
By matching up blocks of three or more you fill up your colored gauge at the top, once this is full you win the battle, simple as that.
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - Mana Orbs
There is more to contend with than just matching up blocks quicker than anyone else on the planet, it's also a game of strategy. When playing along you charge up your Mana Orb, which you can unleash on an unsuspecting n00b and cause all the blocks of the same color to turn to iron, it's a block-block, a.k.a. a real pain!
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - The Tavern
Home to all community communication, the Tavern is your hub for getting in touch with friends, leaving information on their Wall and just hanging out in asynchronous chat.
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - Finding Friends
I found a friend once, now so can you! Its easy to just type in a name and add them to a list, but remember, just because someone is on your friends list doesn't mean they are a real friend, you have to borrow money off them first!
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - News Feed
This is a brand new feature to Aurora Feint: The Arena. It's like an in-game Twitter giving you all the news that relates to you.
- Aurora Feint: The Arena - The World Leaderboard
Home to the greatest names ever to have matched up lots of blocks in a limited amount of time. Who knows, it could be you someday!
