What else is new in the world of MMO testing this week?
- Project Gorgon was greenlit on Steam! There's no ETA for early access yet, but the game is already in a classic open testing phase if you want to jump right in for free.
- Space sandbox AD2460 formally moved from open beta to launch on December 29th.
- MJ gave Landmark's beta a post-PvE-update checkup.
- Closers Online launched open beta in South Korea.
- Shroud of the Avatar laid out its testing plans for the new year.
- City of Titans showed progress on its placeholder model.
- Tree of Savior's first closed beta begins in Korean on January 15th, 2015.

Massively considers an MMO to be in open testing if it has free and public signups as well as plans for a server wipe before its official launch. We consider an MMO to be in closed testing if it features either future test signups or an ongoing private test phase that cannot immediately and freely be accessed by the general public. Some are restricted by NDAs. We will include early access and crowdfunded MMOs whose tests we deem legitimate. Self-described "open beta" MMOs that have soft-launched with functioning real-money cash shops, have lingered in development stasis an excessive length of time, have no chance of launching in the west, or have limited interest for our readership will not be listed. We realize this is confusing, but the old alpha/beta/launch paradigm is long since over.
