As mentioned in the previous 36 installments of this feature, I am deathly allergic to horses, a fact that Seymour found delightful as he split into several hundred copies and began plowing the field. I stood on an unplowed portion of the field in a suit and hat and contemplated how long it would take me to rid myself of this boring magical horse. When I was promised a magical horse, I was really expecting something more along the lines of Twilight Sparkle.
Please tune in next week for another exciting installment of my adventures with Seymour the Magical Plowing Horse. For now, it's time for a word from our sponsors about WRUP
. Several words, in fact, contained in list form past the break. Words that describe what the Massively staff will be up to over the weekend. It's probably more interesting than this bizarre horse thing, so you should stick around for that.
: I'm predictable. Guild Wars 2
. Torchlight II
. Modding the roaches out of Torchlight II
. Modding the bad grammar out of Skyrim
. And that thing I can't talk about. Good times.
: Aside from something I can't talk about, I'll be playing in Star Wars: The Old Republic
and The Last Story
. I'll also be getting ready for my Star Trek Online
adventure starting next week.
: I'm uh, still playing Guild Wars 2
. I bet you're all super surprised at that. I may even play it next weekend, too. I had kind of a quiet gaming week, so I'm hoping to spend the weekend checking out some of the new guild content and hopefully a fractal run or three.
: So much valor to earn in World of Warcraft
, so little time. I'm sitting at roughly 5,000/6,000 valor in my legendary quest chain, and after I hit the weekly valor cap, I'll be hopping back into Renaissance Heroes
to fulfill my growing desire to shooting people in the face with hearts. I want to get every last drop of entertainment out of my pink and red, heart covered, Valentine's Day crossbow. Deadly, yet fabulous.
: "Dailies" is the operative word in my gaming life right now. Guild Wars 2
's choose-your-own-dailies has made logging in a unique experience, and I've just begun to rebuild Hytbold in Lord of the Rings Online
, which requires like 44 straight days of dailies. Fun? A chore? Probably a mixture of both.
: My game time is curtailed this weekend, but what I have available will be spent checking out the Yarruka's Dungeon Wars event in The Secret World
(assuming it is still on as the post disappeared) and soaking up tons of giddy fun in Clone Wars Adventures
. Just a few minutes in that browser game totally addicted me!
: Still League of Legends
and Age of Wushu
. Been slacking a bit on GW2
, hopefully I'll get some time on it. No promises, though. Either way, just the daily grind on those; nothing really new or exciting just yet.
: The February patch for Guild Wars 2
is here and there's so much to do! I need to participate in the living story, run guild missions, do the pick-your-own dailies, run the revamped Ascalonian Catacombs dungeon, and continue to hoard materials for my eventual legendary. So that covers Friday night. On Saturday, I need to...
: This weekend I will be enjoying my brand-new Kumari escort in Star Trek Online
. I bought the three-ship pack last week and got to play with it for only a few hours and realized very quickly I was in love. She may not be as sleek as the Armitage, and she's a messy fighter, but dang is she fun to fly!
At the start of every weekend, we catch up with the Massively staff members and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see what we're up to in and out of game -- and catch us in the comments to let us know what you're playing, too!
