Speaking of innovation, if you haven't seen or heard about it, the "What Would Molydeux?" game jam happened this last weekend. Joystiq covered it in a couple of articles. I bring this up because it highlights some interesting twists on game design based on humorous and outlandish tweets.

Yes, this sort of thing wouldn't happen with MMO games at the present, but who knows about the future. Maybe one day there will be software programs that are easily accessible for indie developers to quickly produce MMO ideas, even if they are simple prototypes.

I'm getting my points ready to pay Paragon Studios to make a Bee Blast set!

Out of curiosity, I typed up a rebuttal to the complaints about CCP's attitude with the WoD fashion stuff a couple of days ago, and I was wondering if you get around to reading comments that are so late?

Also, I've got a few CoH shots I'll be sure to send in to One Shots. :)

@Brianna Royce

Sorry, I meant I posted it to last week's post a couple days ago. Or, a few days now. And the question was more 'do you notice new comments to old posts'. >_>

This is what happens when I try to formulate questions first thing in the morning (my time).

PS- Bees. My God.

Heh. I think it's pretty much traditional by now for Blizzard to do far too good a job on their AFD offerings, and end up with things people actually very much want. I know people who would kill, or at least maim, for one of those Zergotchi authenticators. And in a wonderful case of irony, as I was looking at the main page, the Mists of Pandaren banner was running along the top. :-)

Don't know where to post this : Breaking news!

Dang, Joystiq just got a new comment system.

I HATE it....and I can't DOWNVOTE to actually SAY I HATE it.

Plus, good luck signing in. Seems to fill up spaces in my name, html style (%20) and it doesn't recognize my log-in.

Ack, now veven massively is changing. No Reply buttons and things shifted around.

The parallel crisis of Infinite blog-spheres is happening! Xenu is battling the Mormon founder! Cats are making dog noises while Dogs are thumbing rides to the Galapagos Islands!

Ack!

@Space Cobra

I dunno about the Joystiq thing, but what's going on here seems more like server issues.

Last old time post ever.

Seems like they want to "connect" you more to sites and all that. No Down Vote and I really cannot log into the new system (or figure out how to) and I have an account. Does it start accounts anew as well as posts?

Well, this may be the end of the Cobra....sad to say. And this may be an unread future message in a bottle, since all old messages are being thrown out.

Take good care, folks. Look on the bright side of life. Try to keep having fun in life. Be good to each other.

And....we are back?

@Julius Seizure.

Nah, I saw the new comment system, called "Livefyre" and there is a post about it on all sites. "It is not the worst" is a bit of an understatement.

No, I guess I am still logged in here...

Really sad....

This may be my last message. Maybe I will get something else set up or work it with my account.

Again, be good. Be fun and lively!

Well, it seems like the older posts still use the old comment system. They are untouched. Not sure how one will log in tomorrow. I got this on auto-log-in and I may just lose the info.

Maybe I will be a ghost and wander these old posts and hallways....

...maybe a "Space Ghost"?

Well, for anyone reading:

There is still a way to use both comment systems even in the new posts. Something about "cookies" and whatnot. Although there is not a log-in button anymore to this site, I am thinking one can find out and work around it or just keep things as is: One computer I have auto-logs and another does not.

Still a fair amount of use in the old comment system, but you see it more on the Joystiq site with newer posts, not so much here.

This just in:

There is a "Disagree" option on the flag! Unfortunately, it's among stronger options, like reporting spam, reporting posts, labeling offensive posts, and labeling off-topic posts.

A bit too many options...

Well, Day 2...

In the cordoned-off section of the woods, this "Red Baron" continues from his crashed "Sopwith Camel", sneaking into the French countryside under cover of the old commenting system.

And yes, I know Red Barons flew Fokker Tri-Planes, but these are crazy and dangerous times...You never know what social media spies lurk around! Up in the skies, filling people full of bullet-spam and email clutter! Ready to pounce on you if you as so much, brush your mouse pointer over the word "toaster" with 367 pieces of toaster ads!

Ack! I spoke too soon.

29 minutes and 2 seconds into it, the German Police have clamped down and replaced the old system. It seems they believed the switch was a "done-deal" but are now clamping down.

Lots of casualties! The Horror! The Horror!

All 7-8 posts are now lost (although maybe I could google for them?) due to the new push of the New LiveFire system spelled with a "y".

Again, I will continue broadcasting further developments!

Well, this may be my last post...

...or the last post under the old system.

I've noticed we've lost the old fronts on Joystiq; FyllyFyre has gone and back-dated on previous old comments and now previous posts only seem to read as "LiveFyre" connected, wherein there were a fair number of older posts and comments, especially on the announcement of a new system there.

So, unless things change, it seems we have lost that region of the world. The Evil Empire is winning (or wynning). All is lost!

This may be my final transmission!

* To whom it may concern,

The war is lost. Only small pockets of resistance continue and there is little to do to gain the forefronts that have been lost to the raging "LiveFyre" that has claimed the English countryside. I was captured for awhile, but managed to escape. Torture was only once a day, so it wasn't too bad, but the food was horrible and it made my escape even more imperative!

I've tried to get under cover of darkness with several venues and had difficulty with all of them. Finally, some cracks did appear and I managed to slip away, but not unscathed. I have lost the precious "space" between my names (which I see one gent has overcome) no matter what I try. I have put thought into maybe a new set of identity papers, but we shall see. I set up a new front with my old ones on a few sites, but it is not perfect. There is some talk of a Patch, although I do not know if this be a nicotine patch or a patch over one eye, but it should allow more custom names.

Still, the time has been coincidental; I have been wondering if I should start a blog or not. While I really haven't, this also has given me time to think, although my interests are too wide for one blog. It is a conundrum to ponder if I should do it with one or a network. Or maybe I should do as I've done. Again, the timing is fortuitous but unfortunate.

So, I leave this with whomever shall find it. Keep up the faith. Have some cocoanut milk while you are here. Take care!

Signed,

SC *
