Ah, spring is in the air. You know what that means! That means that we get to sit inside, away from all of the sunshine and pollen, and watch others play through video games that we just don't have access to or haven't given a chance yet. This week, we worked hard to bring you some more of our digital adventures and got some of our biggest viewership numbers ever! Remember, if you come across a game we haven't covered yet or want to see a certain title covered, take the time to tell us
. Give us the website, why we should look at it, and any other information you think we need to know, and you just might see it live on MVTV!
First Blake jumped into Global Agenda
for his Lunchtime Livecast; then Richie took some time to try out the Mists of Pandaria
beta for World of Warcraft
. Adventure Mike explored some content in Final Fantasy XIV
, while plain old Mike burned some space dust in EVE Online
and cast many spells in RIFT
. I decided to look at Nadirim
because it's been a while and gave the Rise and Shiny treatment to Remanum
Be sure to bookmark our livestream MV Guide
, a sort of TV Guide for our livestreams. That way you can blame only yourself when you miss one of our awesome streams!
After last week's debacle on the Lunchtime Livecast, Blake took another crack at some PvP
on the Robotic. It is amazing what you can do without technical glitches ruining your day! Check out his first ever moments of PvP on a new class in this week's only Global Agenda
stream from Massively.
This week Richie jumped into the Mists of Pandaria
beta to see the shiny new content in the upcoming expansion for World of Warcraft
. With his brand-new Pandaren Monk (original, huh?), he set out to explore these mysterious ancient lands
in a special two-hour show
. His foes included obnoxious monkeys that liked to dance on his head and evil bipedal bunnies that worship giant carrots. Check out the recorded stream to witness all the zany shenanigans!
Adventure Mike returned this week after an unexpected break to dive head-first back into Square-Enix
's latest world, Final Fantasy XIV
. Mike and Shannon both have a deep love for the Final Fantasy
property, so they have been keeping tabs on the patches that have passed since his original endeavors into the world of Eorzea. On this recent stream
, they showed off both guild leves and behests involved with the Camp Emerald Moss region of Gridania. Pushing as hard as they could through the levels to make their dreams of one day achieving the classic Final Fantasy
jobs a reality, they buckled down to kill some bees, slaughter some does, and even poke a few depressed-looking moles. Follow along and keep tabs on their journey through a game that deserves a second look.
In this week's EVE Online
stream, Mike once again launched into the black with Spaceguy Rotsuda
and blew up some unsuspecting pirates. He also took a look at third-party applications EVE
Fitting Tool and EVEMon, which are designed to make fitting your ship and dealing with your character skills more manageable. And he managed not to get killed.
. In this week's stream, Mike learned that he had missed an incredibly important quest that allowed him to open the game's titular feature, rifts. Doh! After fixing that oversight, Mike once again took to the land of Silverwood
to throw fireballs, drop lightning bolts, and of course, get killed accidentally.
I thought it would be cool to take a new look
, a browser-based, turn-based free-to-play MMO that we haven't talked about much lately. There have been many changes and imrpovements since the beta, and I try to catch them all. I get to show off the killer cutscenes, wonderful art, and interesting combat system in this unique browser-based game. Check it out!
Also be sure to give a look-see to my livestream of Remanum
, an interesting financial MMORTS that has no combat, at all. I know it sounds strange, but it's an interesting concept: Players need to help each other out to make sure their cities are the mightiest in the area. It uses familiar design elements
from other Travian Games
games but adds on a few extra twists that make it something you'll play for a while. I even cover it in Rise and Shiny this week
, so check that out if you need more information.
