Refine what exactly about it? Plus, they are already playing catch-up to WoW. And with George Lucas bleeding them for money, I just don't see a working business solution for the long term.

@Reservoir Did you even read the article or the blod? If you are going to hate, at least have something relevant to say.

@(Unverified) Yea, mostly that WoW is years older! To be fair tho, they didnt learn as much from WoW as they could or even should have.

I can't believe a brand new game is years behind in PvP from a nearly 8 year old game. Man they must be sooo stupid! Because I'm sure all the math geniuses here could have done better. Convinced Lucasfilm to give them the rights and execs to shell out 100 mil plus to make the game and then make it perfect in every aspect from the get go with no need for future launches.

Or, they could just be watching porn on their computers between shifts of their pathetic job because they couldn't finish high school with anything beyond a participation diploma.

I got that about right?

I picked the game up off Amazon for 30 bucks so I figured no loss right? You would have thought that a year in beta would have sufficed? 3 characters to lvl 10 so far and its a ghost town. I am lucky to see 1 or 2 people in a blue moon let alone 5. Don't give me its the starting area crap either because this is a brand new game.

The fact that it continues to be branded as a MMO is a joke. I been playing MMO's since their inception and this is by far the most secluded and solitary game I have ever played.I cannot even do beginner 2man missions because NOBODY ELSE IS THERE!!! TEST FOR ECHO!

@OneEyeRed Try a different server. The Fatman is normally pretty full. It's a PvP server. Just look for High pop servers when you select. Problem solved.

@OneEyeRed The game has been out for a few months now. Unsurprisingly, starter planets are a tad empty. Is this your first MMO?

@Lenn Actually, if it were really the case of

"This MMO has been out for three months so starter areas are normally dead." then all server planets starting areas should be dead.

However, they are not as if you go to any of the two to three servers with high populations there are tons of players in the starting areas.

But that is mainly do to people being forced to reroll off of their dead home servers more than likely...so you might have some hindsight here.

It's like Bioware looked at all the lessons that other MMOs learned in the last 5 years and ignored them all. They were so set on doing things different that they never asked themselves if what they were doing was better.

@Quarlo You presume they even looked -- if you take their press releases at their word (lol) SWTOR is the first MMO ever.

Well said. My only addition would be:

They were so hell bent on voicing the entire game, they assumed people wouldn't care how clunky the rest of the game is.

This game really needs to stop existing.

More than half the servers are dead or near dead.

Everyones trying to crowd the few high population servers just for the sake of actually being able to get into groups.

Bioware has yet to really comment on server transfers merges.

This game is a disgrace to the MMO genre and goes to show that no amount of money can make an unimaginative team imaginative.

@(Unverified) Isn't it lucky GW2 can hide behind its "overflow" servers then? It can hide how many players really leave the game after the first few months as it will launch with far less servers then SWTOR so people will be playing on the overflow servers while they wait in queue so you wont even know if they close the over flow servers.

This is a good thing for the game as it gives trolls less to rage about or Massively less to write about as they love reporting on server merges. Or seem to:P
