ME3 DLC in FFXIII-2 is hilarious if only for the fact that ME3 is the only game in recent memory with a worse ending than FFXIII-2's.

It's like a vortex of suck.

I think somebody here disagrees with that. O.O

@Nenene Lol that's what I was thinking!

It's a shame too because both games had the POTENTIAL to be so much more awesome. The Mass Effect series has generally been quite awesome all-around (except for some of the human faces that damn mako... currently replaying ME1 and I hate that thing) and FFXIII and XIII-2 has some truly awesome music, art, and graphics, and sometimes even the weird battle system is sort of awesome... in small doses.

But they're both really sucking right now with ME3's awful ending, FFXIII-2's awful ending, and FFXIII-2's general rushed-ness, sub-par story, bland characters, and the damn repetitive battle system :\

One game which the OP didn't mention was Mabinogi, they are just about to release their new merchant destiny which makes it even more viable to play the game completely through crafting/gathering

Ok.

So I've come to the conclusion after reading most of Eliots articles he is just marketing for Bioware.

Not only is Final Fantasy XIII-2 NOT a MMOt or anything "Massive" but

...WHAT about this is awesome?

Since when did buying outfit dlc become awesome?

Just put a giant Bioware logo in the header and get it over with.

While I completely agree with you on how this is "not awesome". I wanted to point out that you missed one reason that it is not awesome.

The simple fact that these DLC outfits cost 2.99$. Really? 2.99$ per costume, thats 6$ for two costumes. So completely not awesome I do not know how to express it.

Question(s).

If you are playing FF-13-2.
How many more dashes can we fit in this game's name?
Have you beaten FF-13-2?
And finally, are you excited for the possible epilogue to the epilogue of a game?

Bonus question.
What's Final Fantasy 13-2 and Mass Effect 3 have in common?

"What's Final Fantasy 13-2 and Mass Effect 3 have in common? "

They have a "3" somewhere in their title!

Well... yeah I guess that is true, but...!

This isn't the answer you're looking for.

@DevilSei What they have in common?

Two series that got progressively worse and less what made them great games as time went on?

@DevilSei FFXIII-2, only one dash.

ME3 and FFXIII-2 were both pretty fun? Though for pretty different ways, since they are essentially two different genres.

You forgot the double F's (ff) in both titles!

Well... that's more of a personal opinion, since personally I loved 13, and saw 13-2 as an improvement (mostly) over 13, so not it.

@Addfwyn
Well true I suppose, but also not the answer!

A hint for the bonus, what they have in common is so far just rumored, but has strong support for it happening.

Bing-bong!
FF-13-2 and it's ending (wanting to avoid spoilers for those who haven't beaten it), as well as the comment that there would be Lightning-focused story DLC later, seems to hint at something more post-ending.

Mass Effect 3, on the other hand, has been rumored to be receiving some "True End" DLC in late April or May, with the same rumor claiming that ME 3's ending was last-minute and never intended to be an ending, instead being part of a choice that factors into the real ending.
With Bioware "promising" to rectify things "if possible", that seems to heavily be in favor of said rumor.

If I had a time machine, I'd say the MMO that is best suited for lovers of crafting would be Star Wars Galaxies. Even after the NGE that changed the game forever, one could easily setup a crafting empire without ever having to get into combat. Sometimes you might buy things from combatants, or hire guys to help you do something, but you didn't need them for anything, especially while leveling.

EVE online for the win here I think. The complexity and breadth of the crafting system is enough to make you giggle as you flood the market with your Mega Neutron Blaster Cannon I's at cost to undercut your opponent and seize control of that market share.

Yea I heard about the DLC armor, kinda makes sense now what with ME3 having that japanimation reject Kai Leng. Still I like that armor.
