I hope "gorgeous fashion" isn't the only option. I want my vampire to have a mullet and a wife-beater.

@Spacegrass With Nosferatu, Brujah, Gangrel, and Malkavs confirmed playable, you can bet it isn't.

Great about this MMO! A dark world with people interacting and hopefully the depth of Eve over time. Sometimes I want a change of environment.

So when, any dates to beta or live?

@SWHITE They had no beta or release dates, and were very adamant about not giving any out. They made it clear that the game is nowhere near ready, and I don't think it will be for several years. They also said we'll start to see more information on WoD next year, but not to expect much information until then.

@SWHITE Well CCP mentioned they were tinkering with it back in '06. So we can bet that we'll have it by no earlier than '2016.

Honestly I'd say a realistic expectation would be 2014, late 2014.

Whoa, a triple-A MMO targeted at females.

Game sounds awesome...if it ever comes out. I wish CCP would have spent more resources on WoD instead of Dust 514. That gameplay footage the other day from Dust 514 was pretty underwhelming. Especially when you look back at gameplay trailers from past E3's.

Hells yeah! I'm glad, though, that the game is still chugging along - I was worried after the lay-offs. My most highly expected MMO for sure. :)

Incidentally there's a Bloodlines game in Second Life if you need a fix before then.

The universe is perfect for an MMO. Dark and depressing atmosphere + vampires + CCP = WIN

I feel really bad for the guys doing that presentation. They had to fill an hour and there's obviously no game because all they showed were live-action videos and a cgi trailer.

They have interesting ideas for a game...too bad they are employed by CCP.

"MMO aimed at females has a focus on fashion!"

Meh.

"...and territorial warfare with possible permadeath!"

Now we're talking.

@Irem LOL for some reason this made me laugh.

I am for things that would bring in female players. I know several female gamers that like to gather clothing in a game world as much as real life.

The permadeath makes me hopeful.

@Stellar25

If perma-death means losing the wardrobe that female gamers build up.... they might have a problem !

@Irem
have fun in a game whose 2 biggest guilds will probably be "Team Edward" and "Team Jacob", and the territorial warfare will be over arguments about whos sexier...

player: LFG to down some nasty antedeluvian
me: what does it drop?
player: some awesuuuuuuum high heeled boots...
me:....riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight..... /uninstalls
