Massively's got a treat for those of you who were off doing something crazy like sleeping, eating, or working last Thursday, such that you missed out on grabbing one of the 10,000 TERA closed beta keys we gave away that very day in just under four hours. The treat is a picture of a centaur stabbing a dude with a spear! Just kidding -- it's 5,000 more keys!
These keys will secure your spot in TERA's Closed Beta Test 4 for North American players only, which runs this weekend, beginning on March 23rd. Just click the button below, claim your key, and then copy and paste it into the appropriate section of your En Masse Entertainment account, which you can create at the official site. After you've verified your email address, click the "enter code" button on the right side of your account window and submit your key. You can download the TERA client via the button on the account overview tab.
Don't forget to have fun!

I already pre-ordered the game and was just seeing how the Beta invite worked on this site...I didn't expect a code to just pop up. So if someone wants the one I was given, here it is (Sorry Massively! I was expecting a form/raffle/etc.):

If these keys do work just know that the beta is closed. Will re-open the 23rd through the 25th.

Go to the official TERA site and create an En Masse account. There'll be a place where you can input the code to link it to your account, and ta-da!
After that just hide under the coliseum in Icecrown and wait for a bunch of lousy adventurers to fall on your head. ...Wait.

Okay thanks Irem (though it did mention to do this in the article...perhaps I should of read that first. /sigh)
Anyways...I am at the "You have successfully entered your game code!" stage. Where do I go from here?
(And do I have to pre-order first? :( )

Log into your account, if not already, and visit the account overview page. There should be a "Download Game" button under "Your Games" for Tera. You don't need to pre-order since you got the key for the upcoming beta weekend. Make sure you get downloading because it can take a while.

Try before you buy is a great policy. Why anyone would complain about such a thing is beyond me.

As much as i agree with you, BETA's are not demo's, they aren't the finalized version. So if you Try the BETA and like/hate it, the game could change in the following development time.
