If you could find out when I will be invited, that'd be great.

What? Someone had to ask it!

For me, I would love to know how the storyline in GW2 ties into the original GW. Do they do a good job of explaining what happened with Adelbern and Ascalon and how it ties in with current events. Not to mention the story of Gwen and Kieran founding Ebonhawke.

Also, how does the game world seem to be size wise. Does it feel about as big as the original Prophecies with EOTN or did they make the individual zones bigger?

I can actually answer that first one for you.

On topic: I'd personally like to know how the classes compare in terms of damage output. From what I've gathered, it seems like Fire Elementalist and Rifle/Flamerthrower Engineer have a significant lead over the other classes from the last leak of skill numbers.

I appreciate the response, but I mean more in terms of gameplay.

As WoW has taught me the hard way, there is a huge difference between a nicely done trailer and what is actually experienced in game.

I suppose that would be more a matter for subjective opinion. If you're interested in that specific story line, you can see a playthrough of the Ascalonian Catacombs on GuildWars2Guru if you scroll back in the news section to the recent NDA drop footage (If you're willing to suffer the incredible incompetence of curse's testers...)

I'd leave it to you to determine if it's "Good" or not. I also feel I should point out that the link I posted IS "in game", it's a cutscene that plays right before doing the Ascalonian Catacombs, and following it Rytlock proceeds to accompany you through most of the dungeon.

I still don't think you understand what I mean. I know there will be a dungeon, and yes, I realize that is a cutscene.

But from my experience in WoW, especially in Wrath and Cata, was that the dungeon only touched on the lore. I'm curious about the questing leading up. Is the story developed well with that.

Find as much platekini as possible and list out where to get it. That's all I want to know. My guardian will need a lot of it.

Especially since "30%" of them have been changed entirely according to one of the devs. So definately want to know the full set of traits for all professions

Guild Wars 2 is so much better than TERA! The armor actually covers...*looks at pic*...oh. Nevermind.

If that armor, or any fantasy game's armor, bothers you, than I suggest staying away from any swimming pool or beach this summer. The amount of skin that will be shown will be a lot more so you probably will not like it.

Armed combat isn't very common at the beach or pool.

@Daemodand There are armor sets that a head to toe for both sexes. Some armor sets have a Male version that would be not out of place in a Pride parade.

Please don't bring a "realism" argument into this. When you can realistically fight a dragon or use magic, then you can complain about SUPPOSED non realistic armor. And I say the word "supposed" because honestly, it would be more realistic to wear lighter armor that doesn't cover as much so as to promote agility.

And when did people become such prudes when it comes to fantasy games?

For the record, female responding here.
