Be nice if you mentioned some of the other side effects of the newest update, like the crushing latency at load lines, still bugged Warden traits, reverted lootbox tables, still bugged Drachioch runs, etc, etc, etc
So much so that 'Fast Travel' leaves you stranded.
Yeah, probably petty, but you know, I start to look at the patch lists from developers across the board (and I admit, I do like Turbine's cheeky whit in their notes), and wonder exactly how much will be broken in the process?
Let's face it, Turbine excels in muffing up so much with each update, it is best to take a week off between patches. DDO was always abysmal on patch days to the point of rage quitting from potential players. Worst part is that they tend to work at glacial swiftness to actually remediate things.
Honestly, I am new to LotR:O, and really enjoying it (to the point that they have me and the wife's money), but one more craptastic, unstable patch, and I am just going to give up on throwing money at these MMO developers that just cannot for the life of them manage their own Code.

I suppose I am asking too much, but if I rolled back data, I would be in the soup line. Oh, well.
Ironic point: I am actually typing this response as I am lagging and relogging yet again in Forochel - hahaha - good times.

As stated above you missed a few points about U6, first and foremost is the massive lag making almost impossible to play for some. The new open experience Sapience must be talking about is closing and deleting lag threads as fast as the pop up. I love his post about how they fixed it and any lag still present is not from them. Gee update 6 really caused all of our PCs to not be able to play lotro and caused all of our ISPs to now throttle the game?? After 5 years and constant lies from the Turbine Community Specialists I have finally called it quits. Between their Gestapo forum tactics (first silence, then eliminate all those that dont love Turbine all night long) to turning this great game into a massive wallet farm I have had enough. An update and a hotfix later and I still cannot log into my warden, Turbines response is to close and delete threads and say its not their fault. I would like to thank the author here for giving some honest articles, its nice to see a review that wasnt written by somebody on Turbines payroll for once.
