Free-to-play betas are something of a running joke around these parts, and it's not uncommon to see such games undergoing prolonged testing periods for months (or even years). Seven Souls Online might be breaking that mold, though, as the title is heading into open beta tomorrow after the conclusion of its closed beta that began earlier this year.
The NEOWIZ title is heavy on martial arts action, and the new beta will raise the level cap to 40 as well as introduce the new Dragonscale Valley zone, the Inferno dungeon, and open-world PvP combat. Said PvP becomes available at level 31, and you can learn more about Seven Souls -- as well as sign up for beta -- on the game's official website.

Egads, they know our weakness - titties. The actual combat is pretty decent though.

I saw the picture and went "Wow that girl looks... smart"
That is one busty warrior. Add the weight of the little armor there is and I don't know how she manages to stay upright.

@Comrade Domovoi I completely agree with you. Seven Souls Online has a good fighting mechanics. It starts out slow but soon you'll be unleashing your characters "inner demon" with the rage mode, unlocking new skills that seamlessly integrates with your combos and finally delivering those combos which also triggers a separate set of special buffs. Seven Souls Online has some really cool character battle animation.

@Fabius Bile I haven't played Martial Empires before so I really can't judge it for being that. What I do know from my personal experience of actually playing and spending time with it that Seven Souls Online is a pretty interesting and entertaining game. Give it a try and explore what this game has to offer and it will grow on you. Never judge any f2p mmorpg titles until you have actually experienced all of its features.

innovation check.... does it have any?
replace innovation with "twists" if you like to argue over the definition of it.

@corpusc : I couldn't see any in the closed beta, but then again, I logged out and uninstalled before I spent very much time with it. Looked entirely forgettable.

I've played seven souls online on their CBT after 2 weeks waiting for the OBT release date.I was amaze for the big changes which I think everyone also noticed that they made their character as powerful as it can be.Now I am waiting for the best character for which I can duel on the game.

Decent quest and good rewards, they have this “resting bonus” and based on my observation:
quest monster level 10 : 100 EXP
non quest monster level 10: 125 EXP
meaning bigger exp on non quest monster appropriate for your level,
well this is new for a game exp system,. and a pretty good one, since you’d be able to level up your character, and have less of a grind.

I like questing and immersing myself in a game's universe. It is a good thing that Seven Souls has that and a lot more. Nice game features and an active community. A very promising game.

This is my first time playing this game, so I don't really know much about the life of Martial Empire. Personally speaking, I believe that this is a very promising game especially when it is handled by the right people. I like the abundance of rewarding quests and the interesting crafting system.
