One thing CCP deserves credit for is EVE TV. Both the Fanfest coverage and the alliance PVP tournament are interesting and fun to watch for everyone from a one month old player to a bitter vet.

Having watched a few hours of coverage last year, i have to say that the lowdef stream is very good and runs smoothly on a clean computer with a below average internet connection. Also the 1 plex isn't much if you save in game money.

It's a shame that they don't have anything out of the ordinary this year, like the chessboxing event in 2011. While i won't be going to fanfest, stuff like that provide great entertainment for everyone, including non players.

@Xilmar

Hopefully they will cover some of the epic howling resulting from the Titan nerf they just announced.

@smg77 Yeah, 'cause that's seriously newsworthy. It's so rare that MMO players whine about something...

I consider titan nerfing to be an inside thing. I'm sure the new expansion features, Dust gameplay, etc. will be significantly more talked about than titan nerfing.

Sure, there will be a few questions in the CCP Panel session about it, but they'll probably deal with it in their "they're giant extensions" fashion and be done with it.
