Still nothing but instances and PVP at 50 though. I like to continue to quest at max level, preferably not having to do the same dailies everyday I want a level 50 quest planet with no PvP on a PvE server.

Personally dailies are basically the game developer telling you that they were too lazy to do any more quest or story development at max level and handing you dailies in the hopes that you will be sated. I hate them, I got to 50 on my Commando saw that all there was to do was the same heroic quests, the few FP's and PvP either in Warfronts or on Ilum (seriously... a planet where pvp is forced even on a PvE server? Pure lazy development) I hate pvp, I hate the atmosphere to brings to games, I hate the people who get butt hurt over it, I hate the people who think they are God's gift to the world because they might be even a smidgen ok at it. That's why I play on a pve server, and don't pvp. So until they get their assess off the couch and develop some decent end-game experiences outside of instances and raids (which yes I do enjoy, I just don't want to spend my entire play session in them), and PvP, Bioware won't receive a cent from me in subscription fees. I know I could level an alt, but I enjoy playing one character, and only one...

But hey maybe it's just me.

There will be new quest on Corellia in Update 1.2. I just did not get hands-on time with them, and there is a new operation, too. And the flashpoints and operations are new story content.

I appreciate your input, but I think you missed some key points in your argument.

Can you please elaborate on what there should be at 50 (outside raids, PvP and new instances)? I always hear people say this yet no one ever says what they expected outside of END GAME raids and PvP. I would say that covers 90% of the MMO market.

If you are talking sandbox stuff, I suggest you look elsewhere. This game was not targeted to the sandbox crowd. We may see some new stuff in a few years but for now I wouldn't bet on it.

What is it you'd like exactly?

I'm not saying you're wrong. I too would like to be able to continuously quest (and would even settle for rotating dailies for variety), but I'm not sure what continuous new questing would look like. Do you mean that you want to hit max level, and then still have another 3-4 questing planets to do where the rewards are credits/fun but no new levels and no xp?

Or, like, another full questing planet that awards something comparable to daily commendations?

Once you finish those non-daily quest lines and planets, what then if not dailies/PvP/flashpoints/operations? What would constitute non-lazy story development at that point?

I was pretty clear with what I said, I want more questing content. I want a level 50 planet that is not focused on PvP, and is focused on PVE questing and story development. I wasn't talking about sandbox, I was talking about actual questing zones for level 50's where someone can just go and chill and quest and experience more of the story outside of OP's or FP's.

@Larry Everett
I didn't mention Corellia because from what I understand there are maybe a few hours of new quests being added and that's if you take your time. I mentioned an entire zone for level 50's.

Guess I was spoiled by Rift. I hit 50, and had 2 entire zones to quest in, then with 1.6 we got Ember Isle which was a whole nother zone.

With 1.2 there will be three planets with post-50 solo questing content -- that is a questline and some repeatable content. I know it took me about 4 hours to complete the current post-50 content... I'm sure there's at least an hour's worth of new stuff on Corellia. I'd venture to say there is more like 2 hours.

That said, I do think that a big part of playing an MMO is to do it with other people... So, if you haven't already, I would suggest getting into a guild to run some flashpoints at very least. They are a lot of fun and definitely carry the story forward.

I don't consider "questing" end game content. And no, from what you said it was not clear.

Do I think bioware could add a couple more class quests? Absolutely, but what you are asking for is not exactly end game. It would only take a couple of hours to complete. I was prodding for an answer because they already said more class quests are coming for those who want to run through them.

So I still don't know what people like yourself expect out of end game. I'm not even trying to corner you. I honestly want to know what would keep people like yourself happy for months on end. It certainly won't be a tiny quest chain on a planet.

With that sort of attitude you seem just as bad as the people you are condeming. So much hate...

@ReadingRambo And not everybody considers raiding endgame content or to but it more bluntly, not everybody considers the gear train endgame content.

So please...elaborate on what end game content is. I want to hear it. Anyone? I would love to hear some great new idea?

And...for the record...if you read my post I consider WZs, PvP and similar activities as end game content. Not just raiding. Just read it again. It was probably missed.

The PVE questing area on Ilum is completley seperate to the PVP area. I doubt you can be attacked by a player doing the ilum PVE quest chain / dailies on a PVE server it's like being in the open world of any other planet...

Ilum continued the story at 50 - the real problem behind a quest at 50 model is we blow through questing so fast. Even if they spent months developing a full planet full of 12 hours of questing... We're done in what? A week if played casually?
Thats a lot of development time for minimal payoff, imo.

@Larry Everett Great point's Larry I was really confused about end game for Non-raiders until Georg Zoller answered my Email. End game fro Non-raiders/Non-PvPers is more story, Dailies, Crafting etc and it is suppose to be just as comprehensive as the Raid game.

Spoiled by RIFT. I do not understand. If you go back and do all the Bonus Series quests on every planet, you'll be 50 by the time you hit Voss. Then you'll still have Corellia to do then all the dailies on Belsavvis and Ilum. The only 50 quests in RIFT were the ones in Shimmersand. The quests in Stillmoor were upwards to 48-49 with the exception of the high level dailies (note: I quit around the time Ember Isle came out as I was playing Dungeon Defenders and MW3 and BF3 more).

Really looking forward to the new WZ. It sounds more frantic that the other ones.

Thanks for putting this up. I am surprised you didn't mention more about the UI.

I could definitely go into more detail about the UI... but "you can move everything to wherever you want it" pretty much sums everything up. :-)

There are a couple of things that couple be added like global opacity and reactive abilities button that could be added. But as it is, it's 10 times better than what's on the live servers.

That's great to hear. I can't wait to try it out and find my sweet spot.

I heard there is a "retro" mode that mirrors WoW exactly. I think they know a lot of their players came from WoW and wanted to see the exact same presentation. I probably won't do that. I prefer the map in the lower right like it is stock.
