@avaloner
I didn't downvote you, for the record, but I imagine it probably has more to do with you jumping to the conclusion that the game will be PvP-focused because of your opinion that the PvE will be less than engaging. Lots of people are looking forward to the PvE.

@avaloner If you think you were downvoted just because of "fanboys" you are clearly an ignorant gamer.

"Wow my orginal post gets down voted by the GW2 fan boy police. "

Oh, look. Another Massively poster who made a comment that showed an ignorance of the game they commented on complaining that their comment got down voted and blaming it on the "fanboys." What an unforeseen turn of events.

I won't pay another $149.99 for a game, and I could'nt care less about a figurine.

Standard is the way to go for me. Playing the game will be prize enough for me. And I know I won't feel bad about getting the game right away since the price won't be going down for a long time.

That pre-order details are starting to surface only hastens my excitement. :)

Same here, seeing the pre-order article here almost made me choke on my Sprite. Especially considering I haven't been to the site in 3 days.

I'm debating between the standard and the digital deluxe, but leaning towards the DDE. $20 extra bucks for a few in-game goodies + GW2....I'm game!

Statues make great paper weights though.

The Collector's Edition is going to cost you $149.99..

No, it won't cost me that because I'm waiting until the price drops on the game.

@real65rcncom

You must be very stoic then because you'll be waiting a long time for that. Guild Wars 1 had the same payment model and that took a while for the box prices to go down. And if somehow you meant the CE, yeah no. Expect to be price gouged on Ebay by hundreds more for that one.

I pre-ordered the SWTOR: CE but cancelled it as I became less and less excited about the game. This looks cool but I didn't play GW so I don't really know what to expect from GW2.

Apparently, apart from the lore behind the game world, you can't really use GW as a basis for what GW2 will be.

@(Unverified) You should really Youtube beta gameplay of the game before you make any decisions. GW2 is very different to GW1 gameplay wise, they have same lore, that's it.

No edition-specific spanky cosmetic armor? Hat? Nuffin!?

For SHAME. Standard for me.

I'm glad there is no costumes or cosmetic armor in these. Would sort of devalue what people are earning in the HoM for that purpose.

I guarantee there'll be cosmetic armor/costumes in the cash shop too at some point, and I don't think it can be argued that those will invalidate the HoM stuff. HoM awards are specific items that aren't available anywhere else, so the CE also having exclusive, different armor items wouldn't impact their special qualities at all.
