Tribes Ascend is 15v15...if that's an MMO then BF3, BF2, BC2, CS...among many others are MMO's...But they're not..and neither is Tribes Ascend

No one said it was, tbh. This column has been covering online shooters for a while now, much like our Not So Massively column covers MOBAs and other games that aren't quite MMOs.

I believe the Tribes news is somewhat related, since it's from a MMO developer (Hi-Rez Studios / Global Agenda).

Sadly, Tribes Ascend just never really *felt* like any of the Tribes series. Speed is key. Someone comes in and grabs your flag... and you will very likely not be able to catch up with them because they've already got some momentum. Your best bet is to try to pick them off as they escape. Already uninstalled and moved on.

@Scarecrowe

I'm sorry, did you just complain about speed in a Tribes game?

Tribes:Ascend is currently the only game I play. Every spare minute I have I can't wait to log in and play even if I know I only have time for half a match.

I am a T1/T2 vet and there are definitely some things I miss from those versions but this is a solid game and is true to the series.

I have my complaints and I am regularly on the development forum voicing my opinion but even as it stands right now it's a fantastic game and getting a lot of dramatic updates from the development crew.
