If i had 155767 points to spend I would definitely pick that up instantly, my real wallet would not even really feel any lighter =)

$10 bucks for a quality of life feature that simply is part of the background in the games I play. It's troubling how LotRO double dips their subs.

@jimr9999us

It's not really (or at least not necessarily) double-dipping given that, as pointed out below, monthly subscribers get 500 points per month.

@jimr9999us True to massively form, the post leaves out the fact every player gets the upgrade for free. The part that costs money is wanting to store items like trophies, festival tokens, etc. So in a couple weeks every player will have a functional wallet just how functional depends on the player. I guess I don't so how this is a big deal, it's not like turbine went f2p overnight.

Given that:

- Subscribers get 500 points per month.
- Fully doing all the starter zones on a new character nets over 500 points.

I don't see the price as a problem. More so for someone with plentiful alts like me.

The only reason I'm not getting it this exact instant is because I don't yet need it. I'm going to wait until it either goes on sale, or I actually need this.

LOTRO is a quality game that rarely takes advantage or forces you into buying things. I would by this just to support the game and to increase my own enjoyment. I mean...lighten up people...who did MMO players start to be so intense...lol.

Well that 'quality' has certainly been on a downward path recently.

Given that the main reason I left was because I was tired of spending 30 minutes of each play session devoted to inventory management, yeah this is a bit cheeky.

@Grok

Well they have to create the problem before they can ask you to pay for it's removal.

Be reasonable! :P

Yeah, I don't really do a lot of things that accrue tokens and whatnot that sit in my bag. I do skirmish, but the Marks for that seem to live quite happily in my standard wallet. I guess Monster Play generates a lot of junk, but I haven't done that since they locked-out my favourite monster character. I wish they'd grandfather those guys in, like SOE did with existing characters in EQ2.

Turbine Managment listened to it's players and improved barter wallet and put this improvement into store.

hahahahahaha

Microtransaction based model for you.

If Turbine offered another 15 bank slots for 995 per character (as it has done), would most of you who complain now still complain? Give it a different name, a slightly different purpose and it's a tragedy!

@smartstep No, you are. And what do you care anyway? You're not even playing anymore, which you claim below each and every frigging LotRO piece on this site.

Sauron seems to have lost his bestest troll. He would like it back.

If that's the case, then hey Grima - Saruman's calling - says get back to Isengard on the double. They're about to release drop boxes and will need you for the defense.

God, I can't believe I use to think Turbine's hybrid model was pretty cool. Whelp, they way to show your discontent for their business model is to stop giving them money and I stopped giving them money when they suckered me into pre ordering an unfinished expansion. Now for the first time since I've started playing mmos six years ago I'm actually uninstalling an mmo and considering how slow it is to insall lotro I can safely say I won't be playing again.

I still regret giving them money for four years, but at that point the game was worth it. And no this is not JUST because of the wallet improvement, it's also all the other little blows that they have been giving out.
