If it's open/persistent world, I'm interested, if not I don't care.
If it's lobby based then what's the point? It's not going to beat Monster Hunter.

@(Unverified) Not sure where that guy found that it was lobby based, I checked out the game via a pserver and there were no lobbies.

Basically a monster hunter game surrounded by WoW like quests. Every once in a while you get to down a big monster.

It's basically a free version of Tera except much much worse lol.

I'll stick with Tera and Monster Hunter for my big monster fix.

@Derekisazombie

Interesting thing: The two game (Tera and RaiderZ) is use the same game engine (Unreal Engine 3).

The Tera is more improved, but the RaiderZ is not bad. :)

Look, it is a Korean gameplay video: http://youtu.be/WJsQfx27hXc

It is open world (look the map). The system is similar of Tera, but a graphics a little poorly with the another Game. (But the engine is same)

@Derekisazombie Except in Tera you are locked into a class that you pick but this game you are not.

http://raiderz.perfectworld.com/about/faq

Q: Are there character classes in RaiderZ?
There are no set classes in RaiderZ. You are free to pick and choose from among different weapons and skills and their associated combat styles. Mix sword and shield with destructive magical forces, aid your allies with healing spells, or specialize in wielding two-handed hammers. The choice is yours

@Derekisazombie
got my info fomr Onrpg.com. It isnt "lobby" based in the sense of a chat room lobby like most free FPS are, but in the sense that Vindictus and Dragon's Nest are. Guild Wars is also a good example

city hubs where you do nothing but get quests barter with merchants and make groups.
then the maps are instanced for you or your group. they are pretty big maps, tho.

hear hear!

i hate that we keep having to ask if games that are posted to an MMO website are actually MMOs.

It is Open World with shire, but not Full World map.

Full World map: Perfect World

Open World with shire: Forsaken World

No, it is not lobby based, it is not a action game (like Vindictus or Dragon Nest)

It is a quote the official site:

"Michael T. asked:
"When you say open world do you mean the whole world will be connected as one full map? Or will there be points where you have to enter Regions? Also, along with the open world map, will there be a large selection of dungeons?"

Unlike many other action games where everything is based off of dungeon instances, RaiderZ has an open world. This means that you can travel throughout the RaiderZ world and bump into other players while on your adventures.

There are separate maps according to regions in RaiderZ and there are points where you can enter in to different maps. There are currently five dungeons and tons of mini dungeons."

Graphically, the PCs look like they were ripped from Rift.

It looks like a decent game, but I have a bad taste with the look and feel of PWE games. I always thought Forsaken World looked... lifeless, no matter how pretty they tried to make it, same with Perfect World and other places. Also, their controls and UIs usually leave something to be desired. Hopefully, this game is good... I don't want it to end up a boring grindfest, like Forsaken World.
