Sad for them.

I wanted to like Black Prophecy. I guess it just felt too much "on rails" which is the problem with many MMOs.

I was looking forward to something that had the sandbox feeling of EVE but with more high-action combat.

They did kind of shoot themselves in the foot. Sign up for Neocron 2 account has been broken for 3+ years

they had a good thing with Neocron back in the day. if they hadn't botched it up so bad, and then totally abandoned their MMO roots with Black Prophecy, they'd probably be doing ok. now they are reduced to mobile games? not that that is a bad thing for people to do, but its just going backwards from a company that was able to pull off an MMO.

They gave it a nice try.

But you can't instance a space game like that. It's... space.

@FrostPaw I'll admit that it's been a while, but when I last checked Eve was not a mission-based, instanced shooter. Correct me if I'm wrong, but in Eve every person who travels to a sector finds themselves in the same zone.

BP is not an open-world MMO.

Not surprised. They couldn't even be assed to put together a proper installer for their game. That doesn't speak well of their internal processes.

Feel bad for people especially workers ,but well mmo market is oversaturated. F2P market even more after recent shift in many mmorpg's to this model.

Some titles will die. It is inevitable.
