One more week devoted to SWTOR. I really cannot play anything else these days, but it is a sweet addiction :)

I got a busy weekend.

DotA2, Eve, LotR War in the North, Gears of War 1, and probably some Kairosoft games. I also got back into WoW....HARD lol. Blizz gave me 7 free days and I said "what the hell" and so I reinstalled it and man oh man, I forgot how much I loved that game. So yeah, I don't plan on going outside this weekend lol.

I hope that one of you Massively staffers will find a little time in your busy schedule to kill whatever that thing in the picture is.

It's tempura. And if nobody else wants to kill it, I uh...I volunteer.

To kill it with my teeth.

His tastes in food were actually surprisingly pedestrian. Apparently he was really into beans. Spin Irem's Wheel of Useless Lovecraft Trivia! :D

@Lenn

Tempura is just Japanese-fried "insert food-product here". Japanese fried is different from American-Fried because of it's light batter. Not as thick and not too fatty (but we are talking "fried").

The above seems to be two large shrimp (prawns), a cucumber slice and a sweet potato slice underneath. You mainly get this kinda stuff at Japanese restaurant (It is not all sushi). It's not too different from "Fried Shrimp".

I've been meaning to visit my local (traditional) Japanese restaurant for awhile and this is reminding me I should do so.

If my mother doesn't call me to help with my brother's bathroom renovation I plan on spending the weekend on the tera beta. I just preordered the game yesterday to try the beta out...so I'm still downloading (btw, don't use the P2P portion of the download, it downloads twice as fast without it)).

If my mother does call me I'll be spending today on the bathroom renovation and tomorrow on the tera beta (except for when I'm at church...yes, I go to church).

Also, I tend to play easy indie games when I'm bored/tired of doing anything else. Super Meat Boy and Bit.Trip Runner for example. I also play the not-indie Civ V occationally (though, I usually just set up a civilization as ending one is boring).

Also, What on earth is that food? It looks gross and tasty at the same time. Tasty because it appears to be fried and gross because it looks like it's a strange food and I don't know what it is.

@Yog Tempura, it's Japanese food, very common here. I thought it was pretty popular outside Japan too? It's assorted food fried in a very light batter, it doesn't taste too oily or heavy as a result. It's usually vegetables or seafood, shrimp in this picture (the long pink one) along with maybe some kabocha or sweet potato.

Sweet potato is the best. Luckily my S.O. doesn't care for it so I always trade with her.

I will be devoting most, if not all, of my gametime this weekend to helping my friend work on his HoM in prep for GW2, while also half-dabbling in my special "Guild Wars Survivor Style" warrior!!

This weekend belongs to the TERA beta. Huzzah!

My ebby and flowy yen for MMOs just ebbed out again. Been playing (and enjoying) SWTOR but it's time for something different. So I dug through my collection and loaded up Titan Quest, and am enjoying it immensely :D

I shall be back for PS2.

Interested to see what you think of Seven Souls, Beau, because my take on the beta was that it was a complete and utter waste of space, with no redeeming features whatsoever.

Just got a beta key for Tera so I'll be trying that out, yay. :D Thanks Zam!

Oh and likely getting in more Guild Wars time, specifically the Factions campaign. Gotta say I've leveled up a lot faster than in Prophecies. I'm not even off the starter island and I'm like 15. I've thankfully managed to stick with my Ritualist, and I'm trying out a spirit build. Seems neat so far.
