Lol, the dev gaggle on this game is so F'd up it is amazing they have the money to continue puting out trash updates. Freeps op'd, MP op, Freeps op'd, MP op'd, it goes on and on with such a lack of common sense or vision as to what the game needs or even the smallest realization of what the fans want, which obviously is of no concern to the dev clowns in charge.

This games saving grace are the threads that the community starts bashing devs about ignorant choices and lack of heeding the community, these are seldom deleted or locked. Who knows, maybe the companies website is outsourced too and they cant get to it to close threads decrying the devs so often for stupid choices.

To many great posts made by the players still paying for this trash game go unheeded. This is really sad, the devs......like the Cylons.....have a plan.

@Graill440

Sorry but I'll take the professional game developers of one of the best games on the market's gameplay decisions over some whiny 14 year old pvmp players that claim anything is OP as long as they're losing.

@TortoiseCan

unfortunately you do not know what your talking about. We are not talking about just some random 14 yr old QQing, but actual long detailed posts from community members giving options and explaining some of the outcomes of these changes. I am not one who makes these posts on the forum as I no longer care, but to come on here and just say its 14 yr olds whining clearly shows you do not know what your talking about..

the devs there never listen when it comes to a vast majority outcrying an issue. Just look at LI's, radiance gear, and the whole fiasco that was the Isengard Expansion. The main complaints people had in beta were not heeded and wound up causing more damage than good.

the main complaints people had in beta ? the game is bigger/more popular now than ever. Regardless of my initial statement about the 14 year olds, we're still talking about the same issue at large - vocal minorities expressing their desires based on their play experiences.

Most of their playerbase are like me - they take things as they're presented to them - they don't sit outside of the game developing these complexes about the company, nitpicking at things they find annoying - they either play the game and enjoy it or they don't. Most people are playing this game, and the never-satisfied MMO hoppers rip it up on forums, what else is new.

They need to focus on the promised Riders of Rohan. I seriously doubt that the willpower to develop a mounted combat system remains in that company. Surely the talent is there, but the cost of development won't look very pretty against the ability to rake it in by simply gimping drops further.

Wasn't that the last big news out of Turbine? I wonder how that's going?

@Deliverator Look for mounted combat to be very small in scope. They may say it's going to be "huge", but they've already stated that it's going to be limited to a small area of Middle Earth, and I doubt we will ever see it in other parts of ME or in PvP zones for that matter. Always take what Turbine tells you with a grain of salt because what they "sell" you and what you actually get end up being two totally different things in the end. They promised BIG with Mines of Moria and failed to deliver. They promised BIG with Siege of Mirkwood and failed to deliver. They promised BIG with the Enedwaith expansion (if you could even call it an exspansion) and failed to deliver. They promised BIG with Rise of Isengard, and we all know what a cluster-f**k that was. They released it incomplete and full of bugs.

@Aarmic
I actually think it'll never happen. If it does, as you say, it'll probably be just what you'd expect from any other junk F2P game.

Turbine promises big and delivers close to nothing. They don't listen to their alpha testers, their beta testers (I was in all of the betas and can attest to this) or their community at all. "Upgrading" only leads to classes being overpowered. Period. Nothing they do to PvMP will fix it. It NEEDS to be reworked from the ground up.

I was excited when I found out they were ACTUALLY hiring a PvP Dev, but as time went on, I've come to find out that this Dev knows very little about PvP. Either that or the powers that be won't let him do the things that NEED to be done.

Oh, and look for some of these new "upgrades" to only be available in the store. PTW FTW.
