@enamelizer 16 years later that companion will go all emo, spend all your in-game cash and start partying under death rifts.

So... a lot of gay marriages then.

Glad Trion supports it.

@Jwheeler

Also, they should rename their record of "The Most In-game Marriages" to "The Most In-game Gay Marriages."

The ratio of men to women is nowhere near equal in the gaming community. Just saying.

doin the whole wedding thing was fun just for the booze. drinking all the beer and getting a buff saying you're "drunk" and having everything blurry with double vision was pretty cool. lol

@Dazzle

Do the other toons get progressively better-looking with each drink?

I think a lot of the people got married for the novelty of the wedding instance and the perk of having a new title to add to their collection.

What would be really cool is if Trion implemented marriage as a feature that enhances game play beyond role play such as providing buff to toons in-game marital status that grants extra xp or temporary stat boosts whenever the married couple is grouped together.

In-game gender roles aside (which rarely has any true bearing on the players actual gender or preference in that regard), this would give marriage an actual function and added dimension to the game.
