This game looks interesting, but the name Bigpoint is a huge turn off...

Does anyone know how the cash shop looks for this game?

@xBludx

It's a Bigpoint game, that automatically means you can buy the actual "you win" ending credits in the cash shop for some several thousand real dollars. That company name is synonymous with "garbage".

Sure Bigpoint might have a somewhat negative stigma following it around, but if the game is fun it's not going to stop me from trying it out.

They have ruined all any respectable name power or good will they ever had with some of the crazy things they've said lately.

These people don't want to create a fun game that people can enjoy for free. They consciously try to create a game that forces you to pay through the teeth to enjoy. They represent every negative quality about F2P games today. Pure greed.

Ok so here's what you're going to get for free from big point: blowed up.. really though I'm serious.. they're going to literally charge thousands of dollars for a fully equipped 'account' and the new free players are going to be cannon fodder.

They'll go ahead and start out reasonable.. the game will be fun.. then they'll update it into absolute ruin and cheat their customers in the process.. they might even make another like me who puts a warning out at every public outlet he can find... if you see bigpoint: RUN and RUN FAST before they turn on their vacuums and its too late!!!

It's a pretty neat game. I played it on Facebook when they were doing the "beta/alpha" thing Bigpoint does. Are they really trying to fix bugs or just testing a market?
Either way, they just recently moved the English-speaking servers for Pirate Storm to their game portal site from Facebook.
I must say that I'm not sure who actually developed this one, but they did a pretty good job.
However, I spent much more IRL money on another one of their games so I couldn't keep up with "new investors/newly registered players".

The Kultan game they purchased is pretty cool, too. Not many people play the USA servers, though. Both definitely worth a try.
It's kinda like the advice your friends give you before you accept a new job out of desperation: "Give it a try, but probably shouldn't stop looking."
Cheers.

Nice graphics at first glance but eyes ache after a while and gameplay is repetitive as hell. If you are 12-13 I guess it will seem like PERFECT but that's about it.
Better try a classic browser game like Pirates Glory.
