Well said. I love taking a new alt through the Shire or Bree. Just an innocent adventurer helping out the local folk and mixing it up with a Ranger here and there. I just hit 75 on my Champ and i've got all this weight on my shoulders. Everybody wants something from you. Dwarfs, Elves, Rangers, grubby Dunlanders, and even Theodred's riders. Time to head back to the Shire and enjoy some Old Toby with my old Bounder buddy's.

Any time I've been on an epic trek from somewhere halfway across the world back to the Shire, I genuinely feel more relaxed and less threatened the closer I get to it, and finally crossing the Brandywine is like jumping back into the womb and pulling a nice blanket over my head. :)

I know just how you feel. The early levels were the reason that I fell in love with the game, while the latest expansion is the reason that I'm no longer subbed :/

The other area that will always stand out for me is Evindim. The quest chains were really good at taking you to the best scenic overlooks on the map, and the revamp of the area has only improved it.

Just started playing, and after figuring out how to make my 8800GT play nice with the game, I am enjoying it. Only annoyance, is that I greyed out many tasks before I got them, and now can't do them. (well lack of storage space is a pain too). Oh well, newb mistake, live and learn. I do think I am a bit over powered as a Hobbit Hunter, and leveling is too fast, but all in all a good time.
