@Valdur

This. I am not interested in Diablo 3 at all.

Acti-Blizzard policy put me off recently.

@Valdur I
I dont think any game should try to compete against GW2, arenanet has time and time again they aren't competing with anyone and they are just making the best game the possibly can. Any game that markets themself against a popular title is doomed to fail because instead of innovating and going into a different direction they'll try to do the same thing they rivals are doing and call it an improvement.

@smartstep I'm a little more thrilled about Path of Exile, and this is coming from a diehard Diablo fan.... then again, that does make sense...

Still, when DIII hits, I will buy it, and immediately attempt to make a melee wizard, as it my wont.

No - Diablo 3 is not confirmed in 2nd Q. Far from it. There are still big legal issues regarding the auctionhouse in terms of licences in diffrent countries in EU. And BLizzard will rather skip releasing the game than to skip RMAH. Thats at least how it looks atm.

@Deadalon
With the game 100% on Battlenet, it will be a simple matter to regionalize the RMAH. They won't delay the release of the game for it...they'll simply roll out AH access to different areas at different times (if at all) as their legal issues are ironed out.

Q2 does seem to be a bit farfetched. There are major game mechanics that haven't made it into the beta yet. Perhaps they're really feeling the pinch and will release it with only alpha/friends&family beta testing of those features....we'll see.

@UnknownUser There's also more stuff for the Diablo 3 team to remove, so it's obviously not ready.

/snark ;D

I've been playing the game for 4 months and it's still laggy, server hiccups, framerate issues, graphic problems.

Blizzard take your time, even you know Q2 is too early.

"Given the popularity of the action RPG genre, and the keen interest in Diablo III, we expect this launch to be a big opportunity for Blizzard. We can also confirm that we will tease you by claiming that we are targeting a Q2 launch for Diablo III. We expect to announce more details about the release schedule in the coming months,"

Fixed for Blizzard speak.

I know the games have nothing in common, but it doesn't matter. Any game that comes after GW2 will just have to wait a few months. I have little time as is and I don't think I will be able to play anything except GW2 and Skyrim. I just don't see myself buying D3 anytime soon.
