@Deliverator

It's actually the former community manager of EQ passing on the duties to the present manager...and they decided to do some pics with it.

Still, I wish the guy would stop hitting the poor lady with that baton! ;p

It was a fun listen, thank you.
Entropia Universe was mentioned. I went through the initial download and lobby for this game, and I was particularly impressed by the UI. I've never seen it before in a game, but the interface actually scales to your playstyle pretty seamlessly. You can play third-person with tab-target, third-person shooter, first-person tab/shooter, and they even allow you to click-to-move.

I ran up against a wall when they wanted me to download several gigs of content AFTER I made it through the game download and got through chargen. That was a demotivating break for me, to go from the buildup of this really neat spaceport lobby and travel posters, to waiting on a blue bar for a 6 gig download.

Anyway, great 'cast. Mrs. Royce is well-spoken.

Hey, I liked 'shoot the breeze with Bree', but 'Bree-to-play' is pretty good too :D. I'm sure Bree is loving it :P

And I do really like Bree, she has a good pod-voice and is fun to listen to. There sure is a lot of talent at Massively.

@WolvenSpectre For some reason the comment post got borked after I sent it. It should have read "I listen to and follow Massively Speaking through the RSS Feed in Google reader and some changes to the post has the Google Reader Streaming Player not showing up in this weeks podcast post unlike it ususally does. Could you please find the problem or what you forgot to do for next weeks podcast?"

"Thanks for all your hard work on the site and don't let the negitive comments" like this one "get you down."

It is strange how the post broke, almost like it went through an evil Anti-Editor making my bad writing shorter but worse ;-P

Very good first show, Bree.

It distilled how...well, I'll use a safer expletive here: How "Damn Smart" you are in getting to hear you speak on a variety of topics. Most impressive!

I mean, I guess it is a bit like the Bioware/voice-over thing: To actually hear it is a bit different than reading it.

totaly aggree with the hosts about the whole people always being negative about games failing. Its just stupid that people feel the need to to play down any good news, I mean other then SWTOR Trion has had some good news latly and trolls are all over it trying to down play the news or just saying RIFT is dead.

You would think if people liked MMOs they would support the industry not talk it down. Its just so juvanile really. Maybe most of the posters are 14 years old?

And Gratz on your first show Bree:)

SWTOR doesn't have good news LOL they have bug fixes and it's largely too late, and when we talk about bug fixes i mean design flaws as well because let's face it it might as well be called a bug if it doesn't work properly. What gets me is people who are fanbois and moderates are STILL paying for this game monthly even tho they know in their hearts they are paying to play a beta at best, not a feature complete mmo, so if any other game does the same thing as Bioware did with this atrocity in the future we will have SWTOR playerbase to blame for it because future companies will see, it doesn't matter what you put out so long as you have a great IP to support your game in the end. Sad really.
