Those of you who've been waiting to pull the trigger on a TERA pre-order because of the uncertainty over retail collector's edition versions of the game will have to wait a little longer. En Masse Entertainment's Evan "Scapes" Berman posted an official statement on the TERA website a short time ago that basically says the company is aware of the problem but has no time-table for fixing it.
In a nutshell, the En Masse website has been advertising physical collector's edition packages for the better part of a week, but when gamers go to the various retail partner websites listed on the page, the CEs are nowhere to be found. Some TERA fans are a bit anxious because pre-ordering guarantees a slot in the fast-approaching closed beta period, and the only alternative thus far is to buy a digital version of the game directly from En Masse.

Sadly, this is all the fault of Atari who is the distributor. They failed to even mention to the retailers that a CE even existed. I have asked Amazon about it and they are oblivious to its existence and Atari refuses to respond to anything and show no efforts to fix it while they are all over advertising their other stuff.

"En Masse 'communicating directly with retailers' over TERA pre-order blunders"
Does this fall under the "No Shite Sherlock" category for things you should do first, not second?

I think you have your argument mixed up with someone else who was debating that?

Not the best start for TERA.
Lawsuit.
Failed EU sneak peak launch.
Pre-order gone to crap.
Let's hope this isn't a reflection on the game, was looking forward to this game a fair bit :D

Failed In Asia -> Failed due to it being designed as a western MMO, not enough grind and timesink in the game to appeal to the keen grindy natured mindset of Korean gamers.
People Going To Jail -> The Korean case was thrown out on appeal, they never had to pay damages or serve jail time.

That is an unenlightened and sexist assertion if ever I read one. Feminism is full of 1-dimensional hypocritical bile, and this is one such example of why extremes are dangerous.

@Verus So I don't have to deal with ignorant fools like you?
How is still being one of the top 10 MMOs in asia fail?
The people were NOT jailed, the case was overturned
Failed EU sneak peak, pre order snafu are just beta. It's not the official release which is May 1st.

@Verus wtf would any of that be a reflection of the game being fun? Explain it, beyond vague allusions. This is basically an ad hominem. They could have some of the most talented game designers around plausibly working in the title, and these issues with distribution and programming code effect that in no way whatsoever.

@NyxethNullfire actually that what people say that haven't actually played yet. It failed because at release it did not have any content at level 50, by the time they added more content the damage was done. Also it doesn't that then only solid thing in the game was the combat and that falls apart after level 30, since it becomes very group dependent to complete Any quest, even the kill x mobs for x drops. Basically cuz of the aggro system and the dependence of groups fights don't amount to anything above tank and spank.
I m not saying I hate tera, I will probably play on a private server or IF it ever goes f2p.
