Non, if it gives me xp then its fair game. Having said that, when I killed some of the deer in rift I felt a little guilty just because the noise they make when they die. Sounds so forlorn and sad

Are you freaking kidding me with that SWG example? This right here http://swg.wikia.com/wiki/Jax - anytime I got a mission to take out a nest of theirs on Endor big old NOPE from me. I only did it once by accident and after hearing the sound they make when they die I vowed to never again do such a crime. Plus I was skilling up Commando at that time so everything had to die with fire.

Any mob from Ragnarok Online. That game was so full of cuteness.

Havn't played any MMO consistently in several months but there are two enemies that come to mind ~ the Snurble and Spriggan from FFXIV:

@Khalus
I'm in the same boat with those two. In FFXI I also had a long list of "don't wanna fight them"s: mandragora, pixies, apkallu, colibri (welp, that didn't last long). On the not-cute side I didn't like fighting fomor. I always made sure to clear my fomor hate if I had to fight them for some reason, because I liked being able to hang around the neutral parties of them. That, and it was kind of hilarious to be chilling with the high-level fomor group overlooking the Tavnazian arch vista and see someone run over assuming that because I was there they must not aggro at all. Ooops.

@Khalus I was thinking the same thing when reading the title, heh. Spriggans are too cute to harm.

Seriously Banthas? Jawa's are way harder to kill for me. So tiny, defenseless and squishy I felt terrible killing them as an Empire toon!

Leets!!

Leets (from Anarchy Online) are entirely too awesome to ever hurt--they should be adored and cuddled and given lots and lots of muffins.

Never, ever, underestimate the Power of Leet. :-)

I was going to say "jawas" but then my Bounty Hunter had a quest to go kill some, so I busted out the flamethrower and rounded up a bunch of them and went to work.

They make a funny screaming sound when you kill them and a roasting, charbroiled look when done.

I don't consider the lasher cute at all. And in FFXI they had some cute mobs that, at first, you didn't want to kill...the rabbits and sheep...but then in the first area people usually group up to start leveling together you'll get someone who accidentally uses an aoe ability and aggros a rabbit or sheep and you realize that they aren't cute...they're evil. The rabbits in FFXI do massive aoe damage and they just aren't worth killing, and if they're a higher level you might not even be able to while the sheep will most likely wipe your whole party with its aoe sleep ability and massive one target burst damage. Square endowed those cute animals with the ability to protect themselves.
