The late-night talk show host treated viewers to some "exclusive footage" -- apparently authorized by George Lucas himself (wink, nudge) -- that pairs up Star Wars icons like Darth Vader and Boba Fett and Yoda and Galen Marek (also known as Starkiller). Oh, and wait until the Family Research Council gets a load of Han Solo and Chewbacca. Check it out after the break.

Leave it to Conan O'Brien to offer up the funniest take on Star Wars: The Old Republic's same-sex relationship controversy (which, incidentally, isn't that much of a controversy until it's actually in the game!).

I think the whole relationship thing in Bioware games is always so cheesy, cringe worthy and completely unnecessary. It always ends up as the butt of most the jokes around their games and it adds nothing to them what so ever.
That said this video isn't even funny....

I think the whole relationship thing in Bioware games is always what they want to do with their games, funny and completely necessary since its their game. It will always be the butt of jokes and they can add that to their games if they like.
That being said, this video was freakin hilarious! Thank you

@Miffy Oh c'mon, the badly animated leg humping scenes are always the highpoint of comedy for their games. ;)

Hopefully this pops up in more games, honestly. All these games are doom, gloom, and and a raid boss room. At the very least it reminds us that there's more to life than hotbar dancing a Dragon to death. Whilst I'd much prefer the real thing, a Jawa is fine too.

My male Khajiit character just married Companions hottie Farkis in Skyrim. So literally cats and dogs (wolves!) living together and no one says a word. They don't even bother with a gender check in Skyrim, you can just marry who you like (and who likes you).
You could marry in Fable too. In Fable 2 (didn't play the others) they assigned each NPC with a preference so you had to seek out the 'right' one for you.
I'm sure there are others, hopefully more developers will add more meaningful gameplay around relationships in games in the future.

Lol cute.
Sometimes I like the relationships in BioWare games, sometimes I don't. Never really seen them as the butt of many jokes surrounding their games, either.

it's remarkable that homosexuality is still such an attention-grabbing topic in the USA...

The "game footage" they used - anywhere know what that's from, originally? Or did they make this for themselves?
