Frogster releases TERA Europe pre-order and beta info, new video

Cool video. I did chuckle during the beginning extra long centered shots of the ample chests available from 0:29 to 0:40 :) other than that I think this may have been for thirst official Frogster/EME video to actually show the Elin even if just briefly. Still the visuals of the game do look amazing so as long as there is enough to satisfy my explorer urge this should be a good game.

What if you pre-order and NCSoft win the lawsuit and the game closes down? Call me a cynic but the ability to pre-order being available just after the lawsuit is made public knowledge seems abit iffy to me.

Digital standard edition is £41, more expensive than retail, so much for saving money by buying directly. Another Digital Rip-Off.

I don't think that this game can stay subscription only for more than 6 months. It is not a bad game, it is just that the competition is too strong now.

im just gonna play c9 for free beta starting in 2 days. That and raiderz from perfect world is free most likely much better then this. Age of wulin is also a pretty cool looking free to play not better but a cheap alternative.

This game is not worth a full subscription cost especially along side some of the many american games coming out soon such as: guild wars 2 beta next month, secret world release april, planetside 2, wildstar (after), archage, and blade and soul ncsoft own title which this game stole content from. Why pay for the failed copy when you can play some other premium games while waiting for the real thing that doesn't have the risk of losing money like apb. But even worse before the game even launches.

This game is also way too late to release. Other current generation korean games such as Bless, Project D, The War of Genesis4, EIN Epicus Incognitus, Queen's Blade Online would be much more interesting to see finally make it to western markets. Tera is just one game there's plenty of others most people have barely even heard of that will never see the light of day thanks to the hatred of the wow community which doesn't even represent a fraction of the market.

It really annoys me to see 2 million people from wow and another 2 million from swtor ruling the way mmos should be made. That 10 year old recipe is old and boring and done many times. It's not going anywhere.

Free to play is alot better of a market. They hold 95 % of all mmo players a number i made up which is most likely very true. There are 25 MILLION registered free to play account under their house. Back in 2009 perfect world had like 350 million in revenue which is like twice swtors revenue I think. That was a long time ago before when free to play games where much more unknown. With the 1 out of 5 people turn into paying customers which seems pretty universal I would say they also have around 25 MILLION players under their house. Then there's other publishers like alaplaya, aeria, nexon, NEOWIN, and many others. There's certainly a huge amount of market and revenue ready for these games.

They can exist in western markets easily without all the wow and swtor korean grinder hatred which is ignorant. Free to play is alot better of a position for korean games. There's already a decent following already. Surely with some fresh new games people would be willing to try.

Apb is one of the most unoptimized games. But yet it still has a pretty good population of free to players that have a computer capable of running it. Plus games like swtor were made to run on any computer made in the past 5 years. Not much is changing of performance demands of games nowadays.

Regardless of how gameplay may be I always love the music in Korean made games.

I listen to the Tera zealots and think..It's Aion all over again and the game is already dead in Korea. Never was a fan of Asian games anyway.

I am going to buy this game and then im going to do something i havent done with Rift, Aion or SWTOR...i am going to subscribe! $15 a month? No problem.

This MMO unlike the rest has the looks and mechanics to really say its New Gen. I am super down to play it!
