If you're an FPS fan, you likely already know that open beta for Repulse has begun. Whether you've been checking it out since the January 23rd OB start date or it's still on your "I really need to find time to try that" list, we've got a little something to boost your gameplay.
Aeria Games has given us codes for an explosive booster pack containing seven days' worth of goodies: a Manta X, Torch Pack, and EMP grenades. Want one for your very own? All you have to do is get a code from our giveaway page at the link below. Then visit Repulse's Booster Pack redemption page and follow the instructions to receive your items.
Once you've done that, you're ready to hop into the open beta of Repulse and do some damage -- good luck!

Am I the only one who hasn't heard of this game?

no, but that is because it kinda got lost in the shuffle of other FPS-MMO titles and that it's trailer made it look like a normal MMO.
You may have heard of a game called "Genesis A.D." and if so then this title should look familiar: it's the same game.
Aeria has taken over Ijji, Genisis was one of their last titles that they actually published (instead of linked to) so Aeria re-branded it "Repulse" and is now Re-launching it.
it's not bad for a FPS-MMO; you get a online only Co-Op/Death match FPS with mechanics & visuals on the level of a 2005 PC game, don't forget the tacked on XP point based gear and leveling system ... in otherwords: Par the course for this type of game.
it's not a bad game, it's actually kinda good for the genre but that's not saying much.

Anybody test this? How is it?

@Pingles
it's ok, not a bad shooter.
it will probably get stomped by WarFace (http://www.warface.com/) and Ghost Recon Online, but those are a ways out still.

Already tried it and I gave it 5/10.
High level players tends to downgrade themselves from Pro to be able to join the recruit rank and 1 shotted you everytime.

After looking up some stuff on this game, I don't want the code anymore. Whoever wants it, enjoy.
