The event, known formally as The Grand Cart Race, will begin at 3:00 p.m. EST on this coming Sunday, January 29th. Players are encouraged to bring their own carts to race, but if you haven't built or traded for a cart yet, don't worry; the guides will be handing out loaners for the duration of the event. The team doesn't reveal what exactly the race will entail, but mentions that "there will be different stages of the course aimed at taking advantage of each of the features of the carts." For the full details, check out the event's official thread on the game's forums, then prepare to do it up NASCAR: post-apocalypse-style.

Where can someone who's abit sick and tired of the same formulaic themepark MMOs find a good review on this game? Browsed through massively's articles on Xsyon but didn't see any proper reviews.
Cheers!

Watch out for the videos posted during the beta/launch... I got taken in by a couple especially tantalizing ones a few months ago. What a waste of time and money. I didn't see a single person (in-game or in-chat) until I went onto their forums and looked up a tribe. I got there and found out that most of the tribe had quit because there was literally no reason to do anything besides endlessly digging/filling holes or crafting thousands of pots.
Their dev team is also extremely small and doesn't seem to be delivering on many of their promises. They post Dev Updates on their forums every few days, but never seem to make meaningful progress.
