@(Unverified) APB reload has horrible high requirements, relying in people getting better machines rather than improving the engine.
I've seen more models with higher resolutions and more effects and more of... well... everything using less resources. They should bother a little more with performance.

In the other one, this one I can play in my old 11 year old laptop. And the thing has a busted video card.

There's not a single aspect of APB that comes even remotely close to being as good as anything any of the GTA games from 3 on has to offer.

I d/l'd APB out of boredom and had WAY more fun with it than I expected. It's a lot of dying / respawning, but if you've played any CoD online it shouldn't be too hard to get used to.

@(Unverified) APB: Reloaded won't have the cool parachuting king of the hill games though, or the golf cart derby. The folks making the GTA mods have been extremely creative with their team and everyone-for-themselves deathmatches.

What do ya mean by, "Not the older ones that nobody played!?"

I spent countless hours playing the original top down GTAs...they were fricken awesome for their time, back when 2D ruled. Some of us readers are old farts that grew up playing that stuff ya know!

I have since adapted to and enjoy 3D games, but I severely miss the elder 2D days....le sigh

Yah, I have to say that over in goode olde Engalonde, those original GTAs are regarded as classic staples of our gaming heritage. ;)

The other thing is - seven years! Holy moly! San An still looks half its age!

Older GTA that nobody played? NOBODY?

Maybe your memory is failing you, but afair GTA and GTA2 were very popular games. Maybe not as GTA 3 but still quite popular.

GTA and GTA2, you claim "nobody played". Then you go on to show a picture of San Andreas as if that piece of horror is a classic example of the franchise.

Let's just stop with: I wholeheartedly disagree with that entire premise. But, there's a GTA mod. There is that.

SA a horror? Lol. Game was amazing for its time, did everything better than its predecessors, and was without comparison to anything but other GTA games.

if you are trying to say SA multiplayer sucks..i suggest you try crazy bobs server before making that statement...crazy bob has coded an amazing mod.makes apb look like trash.
