Fantastic. I'm so happy I stuck with BioWare after the free month. Looking forward to see this game become more successful then it already is.

@J45neoboy

Whilst its better than before, only some forms of ability delay have been fixed. It still occurs with respect to animations esp republic side. So BW still have work to do on that.

Fleet FPS is better, however people are reporting new fps and loading screen issues, and some pretty big issues with getting into the game post patch as the launcher is hit and miss as to whether it recognises the patch as the latest version or not (at least thats what it says).

overall, better, but as usual with BW lately, a mixed bag.

I'll have to test this when I get home from work. But judging from some of the comments, it's working.

Level 50 sniper here. I have no problem entering cover instantly, as long as i use the special keybind rather than the ability i can place on my bars - that one for some ungodly reason causes a delay.

Good news. I am particularly enjoying the SWTOR PvP - at least in regards to the Warzone PvP. Have not tried the open world as it still appears problematic especially for someone who prefers to play solo.

The fight mechanics between all the different classes are pretty well done coming out of the gate. There are a few annoying - sort of - amateur mistakes still present (but the game is only a month old so I'm willing to give it time to be ironed out). For example, the presence of chain CC'ng - is a well-known problem in PvP - and usually is resolved by making immunity timers against all CC effects once an anti-CC ability is used.

Play balance was fixed relatively quickly in the Warzones - although I think this could still be tweaked a bit more - i.e. have pre-mades fight mostly against pre-mades (or groups against groups) and that there probably needs to be one additional bracket of say 30s & 40s for the Warzones - as it still is pretty frustrating when facing a team of all 40s with a team that has none.

The Warzones especially Huttball are a kick. Inventive and funny at times (the acid pools, the fire vents) - the way certain players can take advantage of these etc.

Me: Your back attack, use it... now!
Scoundrel: Huh? Oh this thing?
Me: Yes use it come on!!

Scoundrel: It doesnt work!
Me: /facepalm

Hopefully they'll get this game back on the right track again, it's a shame to see how poorly it's been handled so far.

@edgecrusherO0

Depends on who you talk to. People grousing on forums has a tendency to make things seem more problematic than they are.

@edgecrusherO0 As someone who has been playing casually since the 13th of December, and without a lvl 50 character yet (but many alts), TOR feels anything but "mishandled" or "off-track." It's a very fun experience, and I am looking forward to the gameplay improvements that BW has down the pipe.

Even with the changes, the game seems out of sync just a tiny bit in warzones. The client thinks your in one position while the server thinks you're in another. Or the cap bar is full but someone hits you and stops you from capping. Just tiny things but can be frustrating all the same. Oh well. Over time it will iron itself out I guess

Making casting bars more accurate will be nice. It's hardly a big deal, but I'd very often notice they were off.

I'm loving SWTOR. Good fun leveling, even better fun with end game PvP. I'm very glad to see a big effort by Bioware to keep on these hot community issues. I didn't notice ability delay until I was in the big PvP battles and it is very annoying when it happens. I will have to test this out tonight with some Illium PvP on my 50 Sage healer.
