I'm aware of that, however that wasn't the case when Turbine first developed and released LOTRO. I still think it will be a more hollywood-ized version of LOTR.

"AOS-style" ??? Leage of Legends is a MOBA that cloned DotA gameplay. I don't get it.

It is also surprising to hear of this news. I never thought of Koreans as Batman or Lord of the Rings fans.

@(Unverified) You probably don't know that DOTA cloned a Starcraft map called Aeon Of Strife.

I'm sure the handful of people that still PvP in LOTRO will be happy to have a new game that caters to their interests.

We need Middle Earth Online not another moba.

"We've learned that our original source was mistranslated."

That source and his translator need to be slapped silly for sending Tolkien and Batman fans everywhere into cardiac arrest.

@Lenn

Ha Ha! True enough!

They were probably giving some examples in Korean along the lines of, "Warner Brothers, who owns Batman and Lord of the Rings, is investing in an unknown venture with the Korean company Inplay". Translator probably confused things.

At this point in time, I would love to see LOTRO done by someone else. Turbine has turned it into a failure.
