First up is the Storm Tower Isle, an evil-themed island refuge with a Tower of Bone replica and a bunch of pristine beach, salt spray, and stormy atmospherics. Next is the Secluded Sanctum, and long-time EverQuest II players will recognize it as a portion of Sullon Zek's dungeon. SOE left the canopy beds and raised dais in place, and we can't wait to see what some of Norrath's premier interior decorators do with the place. Both homes will be available in the Station Cash store very soon, and you can get a guided video tour after the cut.

Damn SoE, you're not milking hard enough! But I will say this, at least they're doing it right. Seriously, they have a phenomenal cash shop in EQ2, even if it can get a bit silly at times.

Yeah, SoE has focused on a lot of cosmetic items rather than advantage (sorry -- "convenience") stuff. But what's really cool about prestige homes like this is that they need lots and lots of furnishings to look good. Sure, you can buy some from the store as well but the vast majority of what people will use is crafted. This in turn stimulates the game economy in a really nice way. Even if your character is a carpenter and makes your own furnishings there are still a lot of items you won't be able to make and will need to buy. Or resources you might prefer to buy rather than harvest so that you can then craft the items without needing to run all over creation.
In short, when someone buys a prestige home, it benefits other players as well. That's pretty cool.

From the two choices, I definitely like the evil island way better!

I've always thought they should add the wonderful Halloween event mansion.

Tower interior actually looks too big to me, seems it could use scaling down some. Like the exterior, you could create your own large garden/forest there.

*sigh* Why can't they fix, whatever it is that they broke, in the AOD expansion.
My game use to work fine before, and now it's getting the, 'this game is out of memory' error. o_O
Is anyone else in the same boat?
