Ended my SWTOR account tonight.

Next time maybe EA and Bioware will put their concerns on fixing a game before rushing it's release out.

@Traptz That weird, everyone that made "Goodbye Cruel World" posts on the DCUO boards said they were leaving to play TOR because it didn't have any bugs and wasn't rushed out the door.

I think I'm going to stick to my plan of waiting until Mid-May before checking TOR out.

@Traptz I also canceled my account. The ability delay in pvp is an abomination. Low res graphics which I have a feeling Bioware has no intention of fixing. Excessive, amounts of load screens.

They rushed this game, what they should have done was built an engine from the ground up not bought one from a developer that didn't even want to sell it to them because it wasn't finished.

Better yet, say you are ending it because of EA's implicit support of SOPA.

Even better reason..

Damn I got downvoted a lot on that first comment.

Must mean there's a lot of idiots out there than can't tell a polished game from a semi-polished turd.

SWTOR Has at least 10 bugs in every category you can imagine. Things that should have been fixed WELL beyond release. IDC if it's a new game. This is 2012 and MMO's have standards now.

There have been many MMO's released prior to SWTOR and had a 1/4 of the budget that SWTOR had..if those games can be released and feel finished why can't SWTOR? Because EA is S**T!

Toodles

@Traptz If you think SWTOR is full of bugs, you should have seen AoC in the early months...

@Furdinand Waiting 3 months past an mmo launch is definitely a smart course of action if polish is important to you, they cost so much to make it's almost impossible to finish them before financial concerns force the release...

@RoninBlade

Yeah, AoC had a ton of bugs. I have encountered a few bugs in SWToR, but none have been a show stopper. SWToR has been a lot of fun.

I beat you by 24 hours, lol. No srsly, I canceled as well yesterday due to the exact same concerns. FAR too many glitches, bugs, and poor frame rate. NO MMO (no matter how much it is hyped) should perform that poorly out of the gate. If (big if) Bioware is able to get their game in smoothed out, I'll likely come back. Until then, at least I got a cool statue out of it.

Meanwhile, you KNOW gold sellers are going to eventually have a field day when they start selling in threads ABOUT the game (not just in the game).

I have 4.5 million credits from whoring slicing out before they nerfed it and using the AH properly.

Maybe I should sell them..hmmm

After the last 4 Beta stages me and mine decided not to even buy it and for the same reasons most are leaving now.

Engine sucks.
Server capacity sucks.
Game design sucks.
Bugs, well suck too :)

Oh wow, didn't expect a bunch of "I quits" already. Or is the first free month over now?

@SgtBaker1234556
First month is over on the 19th.

I haven't logged in for 5 days though, if that means anything. If Patch 1.1 fixes a lot of the major bugs, I might sub back.

But one of the MAJOR, and I mean MAJOR problems with the game is it's engine. Not only are the textures and shadows crap but the engine is the reason that there is terrible latency in spells.

You hit a keybind and the abilities cast bar goes off but the ability doesn't.
You hit a keybind for an instant and 2 seconds later it activates.
You hit a keybind 10-15 times before it even activates.

It's really terrible, and no this has nothing to do with server lag or connection issues. It's clearly the engine, and it's been proven that it's the engine. I doubt they will fix that in the next patch, so I say adios Bioware..thanks for nothin'.

@Traptz funny, i play everyday and have almost none of those issues. I notice a little lag in response occasionally, nothing game breaking. I have NEVER had a frame rate issue ..not once. The game is completely playable, sure theres some bugs, but no more than most single player games ive played recently - HELLO, RAGE. Just quit already, no one cares. Quitting over a few bugs is just silly. If you wanna quit over low quality textures ..well ok, sure go ahead, but it hardly impedes me from playing it and having fun. If its just not the game for you, thats fine, just admit it and stop trying to act like EA ruined the gaming world by releasing an MMO with some bugs, lol.

@Traptz I don't seen to have this problem. At the very least I have not noticed it to your extreme. I think there was some graphic stuff coming in the next patch.
