Why does the blonde have a Deathly Hollows necklace on? Seriously, it resembles it so much, hah.

Meh, stitched-together existing footage. I'm sure they can do better than that.

Thats.. a meh voice its not bad. not sure if they were going for lower scotland or northern english.

Just to remind you, when you hear someone speaking english with an "English accent" that isn't an accent, that is how it is supposed to be spoken.

Fair enough, it's still an accent everywhere else though.

@tangerineknight I get a chuckle out of people who think that "everyone else" has an accent and they don't.

@Neryk Wrong - it's how it's spoken in that part of the world. There's no "English Accent" in America - though in European countries there may be. ;)

Well you do realize that if you're US citizen you do also have american english accent? and propably everyone in for example UK, Ireland, Australia, Canada, etc will perceive you as one with 'an accent' hehe

@Neryk ‘Supposed to be spoken.’ That's pretty cute. I wonder what 11th Century Britons would have to say to that.

As someone who lives in the UK that voice sounds wrong to me, I hope the voice acting in the actual game is a little more authentic.

Also wtf is up with the Illumati rave? 'we party hard' does not feel very Illuminati to me, maybe I chose wrong, Ima roll me a Dragon or a Templar instead.

Considering that the Illuminati first formed in Ingolstadst, Germany, yeah I tend to agree with your point.

"Tørnquist (TSWdev): [...]The real Illuminati, quote unquote, is really not that interesting. If you read about it, it’s mostly fictional and there’s some Austrian – I think it’s Austrian…

Bylos (TSWdev): Bavarian.

Tørnquist (TSWdev): They’re really not that interesting. But our take on it is that the people who claim they are the real Illuminati actually aren’t. The real Illuminati came out of Eastern Africa at the same time as the city states of Mesopatomia arose, when the dawn of civilisation was happening in Eastern Africa. That then moved north to Egypt and that’s where the Illuminati started out.

[...] Our secret societies resonate pop culturally on the name side of things but as you start digging into them, you’ll find that what we have done is to create something completely unique and different from the iconic versions."

@Boojum Well considering the Templar are supposed to be based in the UK area and Illuminati in New York yea the accent is more than way off and I wish they would have chosen accordingly for the spokesperson of the faction.

@Boojum The accent is from the Yorkshire / Leeds / Sheffiel region for sure. If the voice actor is not a Briton, then he's channelling his Sean Bean for sure.

@Boojum Well considering the Illuminati are based out of New York in the game and not the UK, which I believe is the Templars neck of the woods I find the accent to be more than just wrong. They need to have some sort of character with an American(preferably northern) accent as the groups spokesperson not someone who sounds like he is just an extension of the Templars.
