Its been fun. I wish you would have joined the Chrono's Server, the long term rivalries and clan wars makes for a much more fun and interesting server.

As for leveling up, If you decide to move server's I could get you mentored. If you play a few hours a day you can easily hit level 85 in a week or 2 with a mentor.

Glad you had fun in the game, it really gets a bad reputation for its grind but there is a lot of depth to it.

The grind doesnt really start untill after S grade (76) and the real lineage grind doesnt beging untill 85 (86 when you loose your 2x exp mentor buffs).

I've managed to start a new dagger character and get it into S grade within a couple days by dual-boxing it with my awakened buffer. As long as you have mentor buffs you should be able to solo very efficiently until you start getting to a point where groups are necessary to level. Even then there are viable solo options too for when you can't find a group.

Lineage 2's community can seem kind of shut-in and nonexistent from the outside looking in, but its all there. Its just so heavily clan based (especially the endgame pvp politics) that everyone's already part of a established clan and don't interact much outside of their clan/alliance.

Hope you can have more fun with the game sometime in the future. Definatey get mentored, find a clan to fit in with and try some of the smaller-scale pvp battles (forts/territory wars). You won't be very effective untill much higher levels, but being a part of the battle as just cannon fodder still yields a unique experience.

Thanks Jeremy...it was a really great time watching you play and then reading about it. I love the photos you took too. It is so good that you give new light to these older games. Many of them really do deserve a closer look. Great job!

Thanks for this CMA series :) I've really enjoyed reading the weekly articles, and seeing the screens as you continued your progress, and appreciated the different facets of the game that you were able to cover. Well done!

I just wish this game had a standard "WASD" control scheme and jump. I mention jump not because I just want to jump around, but games with jump usually have smooth walking animations and the such.

Without this I can't even think about trying the game again I'm afraid.
