The on-again-off-again saga of Mythos is apparently on again. HanbitSoft and T3Fun have issued a press blurb trumpeting the open beta for the rechristened Mythos Global. The preview period kicks off on February 2nd, and the devs say that the test will "be available to most of Europe." There's no word on an American server as of yet, but the release does promise a full month of lead-in activities to the Euro beta including "new stories, exclusive interviews, mini-games, quizzes, and more."
Mythos originally launched in April 2011 before shutting down in October and announcing its impending return in late November.

Huh, I wonder when this version will close down.
Then I wonder how long it will be before someone else snaps it up and decides to start the process all over again.

Wasn't this game created by a European studio?

@Space Cobra No, the studio that first started Mythos was based in Seattle.

Well, that still supports my counter-point. Seattle is not in Asia. ;p

I think it was slated to be f2p before and at this point, it'd be best if they did that. It would also be best if they reviewed all the previous complaints about the game and tried to address those: Basically, make this different enough from other such games currently out there. Some sort of different "wrinkle(s)" or at least fun systems taken from existing games.
Still never got to try it. Lord knows there are too many fantasy-themed MMOs out now (and more on the way!) so they really have to go with the unique angle. They sorta have a somewhat hook with some of their player-race choices, but they need to brainstorm a bit more game-wise, from what I've been hearing from player's comments.

Hmmm I think there's a misunderstanding.
The US and EU version is the same, which is under this Global name. As far as I can remember, EU was IP blocked during CBT. But now, maybe they decided to unblock them.
About the post above, maybe that was unofficial or maybe they had a delay that's why the OBT moved. One thing is for sure though is that there's only going to be one catering to US and EU.
