Secret World was my plan b for 2012 if SWTOR didn't work out...

C'mon Funcom. Nail this one please :)

So, has SWTOR worked out for you then? I'm loving it myself.

But I'm also looking forward to TSW a lot too. I just worry I won't like it as much as SWTOR because I don't see the same kind of production value there unfortunately.

Yeah, I'm sooo annoyed by the fact I don't love TOR...I really want to. Maybe my expectations were too high? Anyways, gonna try again in a couple months. I'm certainly a bigger fan of Secret World's art style. We'll see.

@jimr9999us Too high or just way off in left field?

I find that a lot of people didn't expect TOR to be better, but they expected it to be something completely different, despite all the info they had to work with.

This looks like a cool game. It has to be better than SWTOR , especially since Funcom isn't spending the majority of their budget on voiceovers.

@Mtor To be honest they said they are doing full voice overs for TSW but probably just for english.

@Braiks

Only for the main quests.

VOs for side quests in Swtor, was money that should have been spent on content.

@augustgrace I don't think there are main quests in TSW. Anyhow they said they are doing full Voice overs for all quests and NPCs.

Essentially every quest has a voice over for beginning and end (occasionally in the middle) however it is a lot more concise than in SW:TOR because of budgetary constraints. I think this is a good think because the dialogue isn't so boring.

Totally agreeing with the sentiment on the comments so far... hoping this will help offset the GW2 fest that will hopefully be 2012. Swtor was also a massive let down and want some MMO experience that i enjoy, just hope TSW is enough fun to hold the attention past day 12...

Cmon TSW, you cant get here soon enough. Save me from SWTORs lazy game mechanics and on rails space combat.
