"It's not very big but she doesn't care."

I was talking to a friend about my girlfriends new car.

You can only imagine what the person I mt'd thought.

I can't remember a mistell from me but I pasted my login password once in Lotro in OOC.
In WoW I was playing with two guys (with ninja names, yeah I was young and naive) and when I stopped in Orgrimmar to fix something and chatted a bit one of the guy whispered to me "No she's b*tching and wasting time as usual" that was intended obviously to his pal. No need to say I never grouped with them again.
The chat system can be responsible for mistells, LOTRO chat is good, SWTOR is just appalling, I keep mistelling party/general/private because you can't properly define channels (yet?).

My problem with SWTOR is it keeps defaulting you to General. At least in most other games I've played, once you leave a party, it either defaults you to /say or keeps you in /party until you change it yourself.

@Titula I've only mistelled in SWTOR out of my own stupidity. at least it has seemed rare enough that i have no proof to the contrary.

@dudemanjac

My biggest problem is that I need to shift+click to split up stacks of resources, but every time I do it it shift clicks a link to the item in the chat bar.

This has led me to send such stimulating messages to general as:

[Titanium][Titanium][Titanium][Titanium][Titanium]

@Damn Dirty Ape
Try shift+right-clicking then ;)
I figured that out by accident, but I was getting sufficiently annoyed with left-click's behaviour too...

@Titula
Just look at SWTOR's chat interface as it doesn't like to hold your hand (isn't this what everyone's always clamoring for? "get rid of the hand-holding!" lol).
God forbid one has to pay attention to what they're typing and where it's going, amirite? :rolleyes: lol
:)

@Titula

You just need to right click the chat tab and choose to display certain channels or not as well as change what color they display in.

"Yeah the itching is driving me crazy and it burns a little as well"
Was talking to a mutual RL friend who contracted athlete's foot along the same time I did. We believed it from the gym not being properly cleaned anyways the message was in response to a question that was a long the lines of "It's killing me, is it bad on your end" or something like that.

General proceeded to light up.

I once stupidly told my then girlfriend and now wife, what I was going to do to her later that evening..... in officer chat.

I think the other officers were more embarrassed than we were but it took a while to live that one down.

Explaining a bizarre act of necrophilia. Was supposed to go into guild chat, but ended up on global chat. Surprised I didn't get banned for that one.

Me? I never make mistakes! *ahem*

I've actually done the password-in-chat thing mentioned above, but it was in an IM. I had to change my password after that. I also started telling someone about how annoying someone else was, and ended up PMing it to the annoying person instead. Good times.
