@Clemalum07

"They should've had this at release"
"Authenticators? That's so 2008"
"I hate this game and it is my mission to let everyone know"

Not sure if I covered it all..

I just have to say, I love authenticators. Ever since FFXI had account problems and came out with these they have been a blessing. As annoying as they can be to use before you log in, that extra piece of mind that no one is getting on your account without that device is wonderful.

I'd love to start seeing these included in even the regular versions for MMO games.

@Alph

I really give Bioware some serious rep for getting an authenticator out for both Apple & Android within a week of going live.

If you have a major MMO and you don't have authenticator apps and dongles, you're not taking it seriously. In this day and age it's just not good enough not to have them. So kudos to EA/Bioware for taking the same stance as Blizzard and SOE on this.

The Android app sounds nice except for the following:
"This item cannot be installed in your device's country."

Where do you live? It seems that the page Massively linked is for the North American app. From what I gathered on the forums, an EU version should be live soon enough.

@(Unverified) That's good to hear! A neighbor/good friend of mine is playing the game now as well and he was hitting the same problem (couldn't download the NA version of the app).

When Dad and I were at Gamescom this past year one of the devs said there were six people on the app team and they were buried in about three years worth of projects.

Sounds promising.

I got the physical authenticator with my CE, but I much prefer the mobile one, so I was glad to see they had the iOS one out right away.

"its just wow with lightsabers"

why dont you actually PLAY the game first or look at ANY video of gameplay to realize how unbelievably stupid and ignorant that comment is.

Its isnt even your choice. Thats like saying a hamburger is just a potatoe chip on a bun, Doesnt make sense!

Yes! Buku points to Bioware. When I saw the app was for the ipoop only, I was saddened. But they have released the android version, and only two days after the official game launch. Great Job!
