Grinch impressions aside, the new holiday video shows off some of the game's weather effects as well as a veritable winter wonderland complete with snow and player-placed Christmas tree decorations -- not to mention dancing and fireworks. You can see all the festive sights after the cut, and we'll take this opportunity to say that all we want for Christmas is an English-language client!

'Tis the season for holiday-themed giveaways, events, and videos, and the team at XLGAMES is getting into the act despite the fact that ArcheAge won't be coming to Western shores in time for Christmas 2011.

That was nice! I don't like the western style hat (though i would luv a western MMO, a la DeadWood for instance!) in a fantasy MMO. Look forward to this game making it across the big waters! Come to me! I NEED a -good- MMO!

Literally... the most fun I've had in PvP was in Alterac Valley in WoW during Christmastime. Piles of snow where you could pick up snowballs and knock people off their mounts as they were riding past you... then attack them 1v1 or 2v1 or 3v1. Way too much fun. I haven't been in WoW for a long time. I seem to think they took snowballs (or the knock-back from getting hit by one) out of the game.
