@vtravi The Harbinger and The Swiftsure were the two unofficial Aus/NZ servers, so of course they filled up very quickly with Oceanic players that bought through Amazon.

The only fair solution I can think of is to make an official server for Aussie players even if it will continue to be based in the US.

I'm in their customer support queue, because I'm stuck on a planet with a lovely memory bug that crashes my client instantly.

It's not better than a server queue. :(

@(Unverified) A Dev post says that this is one of their three top issues right now and they expect to have a fix very soon. Since my main just arrived on Taris himself I hope it's very soon indeed.

3 crammed-full servers on the US side, with a LOT of Light-population PvE realms available. 9 crammed-full servers on EU side, with no PvE realms at prime-time below Standard.. Someone somewhere miscalculated something.

@(Unverified) I count at least 65 FULL servers on US alone. Not to mention numerous Very Heavy and Heavy's in there too.

@(Unverified) Going by Bioware's own list of crammed-full:

US-based servers

The Harbinger – US West Coast - PvE
The Swiftsure – US West Coast - PvP
The Fatman – US East Coast - PvP

EU-based servers

Bloodworthy – EU English - PvP
Frostclaw – EU English - PvE
Legions of Lettow – EU English - PvP
The Red Eclipse – EU English - PvE
Tomb of Freedom Nadd – EU English - PvP
Darth Revan's Mask – EU German - PvP
Darth Traya – EU German - PvP
Jar'Kai Sword - EU German - PvP
Hrakert Rift – EU French - PvP

There's obviously plenty more that were just Very, Very Full but not at critical capacity like the ones on the list. But the point was, EU during Prime Time didn't have a massive amount of Light realms, like US does.

You're missing the point. The article and the person you're responding to are talking about servers that are MORE than just full at peak hours.

What I want to know is if my server isn't crammed full, why does it have a queue 24/7 ?

@bobfish Because it's Full, obviously. :p

I'm talking about the Beyond-Full servers, and that the US does have a lot of Full servers, but also a lot of Light servers. The total amount of space exists, it's just very unevenly distributed. On EU side, we've got more Beyond-Full servers, and far fewer Light servers.

Thankfully, Ajunta Pal, west coast RP-PVP doesn't quite have that problem yet. My friend on the east coast rp-pvp says there's 60~90+ minute queues over there. They are going to need to open more than two rp-pvp servers for the us population, at this rate. Glad to see that the game is more popular than they anticipated... and they anticipated A LOT of players. I'd like to see the launch numbers.

@(Unverified) 7 articles in 24 hours is a bit much. Especially when they mostly say the same thing.
