[UPDATE: All winners have been selected and contacted. Thanks to everyone who entered!]
On the seventh day of giveaways, NCsoft gave to me... seven years of memories!
On the sixth day of giveaways, GamersFirst gave to me... six retail packs!
On the fifth day of giveaways, Trion gave to me... five subscription codes!
On the fourth day of giveaways, Nexon gave to me... four pet items!
On the third day of giveaways, Wargaming.net gave to me... three premium years!
On the second day of giveaways, BioWare gave to me... two warring factions!
On the first day of giveaways, Turbine gave to me... a lifetime VIP!
We're carrying on with the 12 Days of Giveaways! Day seven has arrived, bringing seven years of history, development, and memories. That's right: Lineage II. While free-to-play games are a dime a dozen these days, it's much more rare to be handed a free-to-play game that already has seven years of content, polish, and updates behind it.
NCsoft has given us a great Lineage II item to celebrate those seven years and the transition to free-to-play: a Darkmane Pacer mount bracelet. We've got 12 of those to hand out to some lucky Lineage II fans. Even better, the Darkmane Pacer comes bundled with a sampling of awesome items from the rest of NCsoft's lineup: a digital copy of Guild Wars: Eye of the North, a Guild Wars mercenary hero, 30 days of City of Heroes VIP status, an Aion Collector's Edition upgrade, and a pack of five True White dyes for an Aion character. Enjoy the mount in Lineage 2 and treat your gamer friends to some holiday goodies or enjoy a sampling of the NCsoft lineup all for yourself!
In either case, enter by telling us about your Lineage 2 gameplay: Are you a longtime adventurer, a returning player, or just now setting foot in Aden for the first time? Let us know before the entry deadline: tomorrow, December 20th, at 3:00 p.m. EST. Check out the contest rules for eligibility, and best of luck!

Wow, that is a pretty dang sweet pack to give away. Anyways, I'm bit of a returning player. I only really played the trial though, and while I liked the aesthetics of the game (and some of the ideas in it), it was really hard for me to really justify paying for it.
But now that it's gone F2P (truly F2P at that), I'm getting around to downloading and playing the game.

I started to play Lineage II, but then I took an arrow in the knee. Like, seriously. Some high level jerk killed me. With the aid of that Darkmane Pacer steed, I can...SEEK MY VENGEANCE!

I will be heading into Lineage II for the first time. I have always been curious about the game, but hard to pick and choose from so many games out there. Now that it's free to play though, this is a great time to get in and explore the world!!

I'm in the process of downloading Lineage Ii now. I'll be a first time play and am eagerly awaiting my fist experience in this well defined world.

I was with Lineage 2 from the beta and for launch. I have a lot of great memories from it but have been away for a long time. It would be great to start back up with a nice new Darkmane Pacer ;)

I was actually the "scout" for one of the forums I go to. Upon hearing that NCSoft was changing the gameplay experience to make the beginning to mid levels less grindy and more friendly with Goddess of Destruction, there was some interest. When the revenue model change to hybrid, then later free to play, there was even more interest. As such, I went ahead and subscribed for a month before the change, reporting back what I played, thought, etc. This got enough people interested that about a half a dozen players went ahead and downloaded Lineage II. When the game went Free to Play early, they started playing and having some fun. When Goddess dropped, more came in, and we just recently started a Clan to order to help each other out in the game.
As such, its been a good experience, and we're looking forward to eventually tackling some raid bosses, doing Territory Wars (organized PVP event), etc. So far so good! I've spent some money in-game so far, and I'm sure I'm not the only one... just waiting for more costume pieces, though. Its been fun, and rather refreshing. While there's definite quest-orientated PVE content, some of us have really enjoyed wandering around to see what we can find. Also, the game itself, while old, is still nice looking, graphically.
One thing that's really cool is seeing players from all over the world. While I can't understand the languages, knowing that there are players from all over North, Central and South America as well as all over Europe is pretty darn cool! :D
I am enjoying it ^_^

I'm a die hard Guild Wars player, but I've been seriously thinking of giving Lineage II a try now that they've gone F2P. Maybe after I finish off a few more titles. Can't take too much longer, right?

I finally got Lineage II to work thanks to Beau's encouragement and uninstalling BitDefender on my computer. I'm brand spanking new but having fun.
Would also like this gift to add one of my characters to my hero lineup and give Aion another go. Thanks NCSoft for the opportunity! Rooting for you guys to have a successful launch of GW2 in (hopefully) 2012.

I first step foot in L2 when it went free to play, but been playing GW for years and have yet to get Eye of the North. So it would be awesome to win it. :D

Honestly I just started like an hour ago but it seems cool so far. My main thing is GW though. But I'm liking it so far. We'll see. :P

This would be my first time playing. I've always been interested, but there wasn't much that could pull me away from Guild Wars.
