[UPDATE: All winners have been selected and contacted. Thanks to everyone who entered!]
On the fifth day of giveaways, Trion gave to me... five subscription codes!
On the fourth day of giveaways, Nexon gave to me... four pet items!
On the third day of giveaways, Wargaming.net gave to me... three premium years!
On the second day of giveaways, BioWare gave to me... two warring factions!
On the first day of giveaways, Turbine gave to me... a lifetime VIP!
We're flying through our 12 Days of Giveaways, and today brings another newcomer to the crowd: RIFT. Trion is enjoying RIFT's first holiday event with Fae Yule, a celebration giving players the chance to participate in special quests and earn "epic gear, a festive corgi pet, a fancy vaiyuu mount, and more!"
The team at Trion has expanded the festivities by giving us gifts for five Massively readers: a digital collector's edition along with six months of free gameplay. If you've been watching all of the RIFT updates this year and dying to get in on the action, win one of these codes and you're covered!
As always, check our contest rules for eligibility, then enter by telling us why you should be one of the five winners. The entry deadline is tomorrow, December 18th, at 1:00 p.m. EST, so hit that comment button, and best of luck!

I should be one of the 5 winners because it is the season of giving, and if I win I will be giving this subscription to a less fortunate gamer!

I should be one of the winners because my last name is an anagram for Trion.

I think I should win because I played the game for a while but with a WoW and a Lord of the RIngs Online subscription, I had to cut something back, and sadly had to get rid of this game.
I would love to get back into it and check things out. I haven't played in months.

I am currently and have been for 7 months an active Rift player and as such feel more deserving than the scrubs begging to play for free. I enjoy this game more than any others I've played.

Because Rift sounds like Gift! And who wouldn't want a Rift (Gift) for Christmas! :)

...because I want to dive headfirst into a fantasy world where I can avoid thinking about work for hours on end. I've looked at the game before, and I think that bludgeoning things with a holy mace or blasting away at humongous creatures with lightning might be the thing to pull me out of my dreary work-consumed existance. Maybe it will even encourage me to explore more in real life.. Or not. Either way, the game will probably be awesome to have.

Oh, I would love to go back to Rift - if I had one Subscription-based MMO I could play, this would be the one. The sense of immersion is awesome!

Rift is a very fun game and I would love to go back to it. Familiar enough as an old friend, but with enough things that are different or have a nice twist to keep it interesting.

I recently played the trial and loved it. I cannot afford to purchase it for myself with all the Christmas gifts I have to buy but this would fit my budget.
